Safe and clean accomodation

We had a nice time in Lake Tekapo while staying at the Alpine View Burke’s Pass property. The house is decorated beautifully and we enjoyed seeing the animals! We were also grateful to have a washer and dryer. There was lots of hair, debris and crumbs of food on the floors. We tried looking for a vacuum but there wasn’t one. Our little one kept picking up the hair and food crumbs that were there before our arrival. We tried to contact the host, but the wifi shut off after about an hour so we couldn’t get in touch. This property is located on a busy road, and on a downward hill, so the large trucks were constantly pulling their loud engine breaks. We didn’t sleep the first night. If you’re a light sleeper, bring some earplugs along. As BnB hosts ourselves, we know it takes a lot of work and we did appreciate the little things like the packets of tea and the cookies! We also were happy to have access to a portable baby cot.

Fantasitic placw qith plety of room and a great kitchen, was the perfect place for our last couple of nights in NZ.

A really fine, full cottage, with all you needed.

Great! These are full-sized, detached cottages...not just a hotel room. Lots of room, like having your own house. Clean, well appointed, great communications. We would love to come back and spend a week and use this as our base for exploring the Tekapo area.

This was a beautiful property both the cottage itself and the land outside. The home was in perfect condition and it was a relaxing place that we really enjoyed. The host was friendly and communicative. We would highly recommend this!

Right from the start we felt at home. The house is very well appointed and comfortable. We relaxed, enjoyed the views. The communication with the owner was seamless. Highly recommend.

Quiet, up dated property out side of town. Not too far but a bit far drive late in the night from Lake Tekapo after star-gazing but otherwise a nice property for a larger group.

The cottage is very spacious and the kitchen is well stocked. It’s only 15 minute drive to Lake Tekapo. Our family of four had a blast staying there.

Large. Nice to have a full kitchen and roomy bath. Very comfortable. Wish I could have stayed longer.

We loved our stay. The view from all the rooms was outstanding. Two bathrooms (great for a family) and washer and dryer was nice! Beds conformable. It was close to the road, so you could hear some traffic…. However you couldn’t see the road and when no cars where passing by, it felt like there is nothing but nature in front… with sheep grazing nearby. We really enjoyed it!

Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. I truly enjoy my stay here.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the views were absolutely stunning. The only downside was that the washing machine was quite slow, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was excellent, and I had a great stay. Feel free to customize it further if needed!
