Destiny on Fitzherbert

We had a wonderful room that had a kitchenette with everything we needed. The room was clean and very comfortable.

We were impressed by the cleanliness of the facility, and the warmth of the staff. The location is very convenient to town.

Check in process is painful, I received the following email at 12.27pm Kia Ora Wayne, We have you arriving at Destiny on Fitzherbert motel on the 21 Feb 2022. You will receive a text (by 1.45 pm on the day of arrival) to the mobile number used in the booking process. If the person arriving is using a different number, don't hesitate to contact us to send the text to the appropriate mobile. If you have not received your text message shortly after receiving this email, please get in touch with us to re-send the message. The text message will detail your allocated room number and the applicable pin code for the lockbox. By 4pm I still hadn't received the text, even after emailing the office, leaving messages on their landline and cell phones and texting. Eventually got a phone call with instructions. Then had to email, phone and text again to get the wifi code. And no apology. The motel itself was actually good and comfortable but the service was crap.

Modern and immaculately clean. Excellent location - an easy walk to Palmerston North City Centre. Definitely recommend.

I was only at Destiny for one night but it was warm, secure and comfortable. Perfect for a quick business stay.

Close to mall, petrol station, supermarkets and fast food restaurants. Can walk to any of those places. Nice comfy beds and clean bathroom. Very spacious room.

Clean motel , very close to town . Unfortunately the beds are rock hard and have no bedside tables Jets didn’t work in spa bath .

The only reason l gave the overall experience a 4 was there was no fan in th bathroom which left steam and condensarion lingering.otherwise excellent. Woould stay again.
