The hosts were so helpful, friendly, and dealt with issues immediately. They are very lovely people. Very highly recommend.

Not as advertised

Great place to stay close to town cheap everything you need dont expect 5 star but great woild stay again

Good location close to the centre of New Plymouth, the museum and Coastal walk. Facilities are rather dated. Basic but adequate kitchen. Shower was way too strong and the water pressure couldn't be controlled.

Building and furnishings a bit tired. But good cheap accom for one night. Bed not very comfortable it rolls in to the middle.

You get what you pay for. Advertise laundry services but you had to leave your laundry outside the door and they would do it. Wasn’t sure if this was an extra cost as the person at the desk was new and wasn’t sure. I done my own at the local.

The location suited us perfectly.

The only thing we liked was it had sky, even though the colour on it was dreadful. The bed was passable and okay comfort. As for the pillows they were like dead weights and so heavy and uncomfortable. One part of the curtain was torn, the other part was dirty, the shower curtain was disgusting and stained at the bottom and when you had the shower going the water did not drain so you were standing in a pool of water. On the front door is a curtain, that was so grubby! I thought Braemar Motor Lodge had standards, but not this one. It kind of looked like they might have clients that are in emergency housing. Everything needed a big overhaul. There was an odd smell as well when we walked in. The cooking facilities look dangerous, one of the elements was up in the air and it looked like it wouldnt be safe to use. It also needs more than 1 single power point in the kitchen, as you cant have the toaster and jug plugged in at same time. Run down vehicles and shopping carts were not good welcoming mat. We couldn't wait to get out of there.

Curtains and shower curtain were extremely dirty. Shower was very difficult to adjust to proper water temperature and took several minutes.

Excellent location as easy walking distance to waterfront, shops and parks.

It’s was not that great

This should never be advertised on your platform. Shame on you. You guys are facilitating people getting ripped off and and you should be reimbursing everyone that uses your platform to book this horrendous motel. I won’t be using Expedia again.

We overall were happy with our stay at your motel one negative was the rock hard pillows.would stay again at same price if we were were back in new Plymouth again.

Nice comfy bed however motel could be bought into the 21st century with a little TLC

Dont judge a book by its cover. We had a very peaceful stay and our opinions of the exterior were quickly humbled. The interior had been updated, and it catered for all our absolute essentials. The longterm neighbour's were friendly and considerate of our spaces and helpful with advice. We had absolutely no complaints about anything.

The hotel was close to the city centre. Good location

Should have been told this motel is used as emergency homing, little parking as a result
