We had a very peaceful stay and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

We had a HUGE 2 bedroom suite. It had everything we needed including an air fryer, which was a nice surprise.
Our bed was comfy, so was the couch. The best part was definitely the staff, they were all great!

We were able to check in earlier than 3pm which was very helpful to us as we had a hospital appointment to go to. The unit was very clean and tidy, just found the bedroom drapes were a bit light and tired.

Parking inside Camelot was very tight, and one night there was nond available, so needed to park on the street outside which was not ideal.

There was a distinct lack of mirrors. Apart from the bathroom there was only one small mirror in the kitchen area hung so hi we couldn't look into it. Not ideal when there are 4 people trying to get ready for a function. Not a huge issue but also an easy fix. Also the property is definitely showing its age. But it is still a place I would stay at again. Great location.

The check-in was abit ho-hum ,qe had to haul our heavy bags up STEEP stairs, maintenence was overdue, there were slip/trip hazards of small fruit on the walk way and the wall socket in bathroom didn't work

Chap at reception was very friendly and helpful and went out of his way to assist. Our room was very old and dated. Dishes needed washing before use and overall room looked unclean.

The Camelot is in a great location, close to the centre of Christchurch and we enjoyed our stay. Clinton, the manager, is very helpful and wonderful to communicate with but the Camelot is in dire need of some serious upgrade on many fronts.
