Your reception and cafe service staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food I had was very tasty and well cooked. My room was quiet so I slept rather well too.

Easy short walk to town centre for shopping, and tourist activities, and plenty of quality restaurants. Hotel rooms were comfortable, spacious (we had a Studio room) and modern. Hotel staff very polite and helpful. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Easy car parking in local street. We would definitely stay here again.

A short walk to the main market and the lake area. The tour bus stops right across the street outside Holiday Inn. The front desk staff was professional and helpful. Noise coming from the upper penthouse floor in the middle of the night was brought to the attention of the front desk. This happened several times during my stay. When walking from the elevator to my room, there was a storage room with a sign that the door should always be kept closed which was to the contrary..it was always open with the housekeeping staff talking loudly and openly having lunch. Maybe the room was hot and stuffy with no cooling or adequate temperature control. Not sure if this is a good practice. I am sure you will read other reviews prior to taking a decision whether to stay here or not. If I am going to Queenstown again, I would probably look at other options.

My second time staying at this hotel and it’s great as always. Clean and great staff, however, room was wall to wall with elevator and the room description of “sound proof” is false as I heard everything including loud people on the elevator. I could not sleep past 6:15am because of the noise.

O hotel tem um padrão de qualidade bom, com cama confortável e chuveiro bom. Ficamos em um quarto com cozinha e máquina de lavar roupas e, pelas fotos, eu achei que seria um quarto maior que os outros, mas não era. É um quarto normal de hotel, tamanho pequeno, mas no corredor de entrada tem uma bancada com pia, torradeira, microondas e cooktop. Como a maioria dos hotéis em Queenstown, tem uma grande ladeira para chegar até o hotel. Um ponto bem ruim é a limpeza, pois consiste apenas na arrumação da cama e retirada de lixo da cozinha. Ficamos 1 semana no hotel e nada além disso foi feito.

We had a 5 night stay, hired 2 rooms. Bathroom and toilets were never cleaned during this time
Coffee mugs and drinking glasses were also not washed
When I mentioned this to receptionist, her response was ' Will let management know'
I have never stayed in a hotel where bathrooms and toilets were never cleaned

Einzigartig war ein stahlträger vor dem Fenster. Habe mir immer den Kopf angeschlagen. Sauberkeit läßt schwer zu wünschen übrig. Wurde an vielen Stellen noch nie geputzt. Schmutziges Handtuch wurde zwar mitgenommen, aber Ersatz habe ich nicht bekommen. Reklamation an der Rezeption war leider nicht möglich, da nur bis 22:00 Uhr offen. Habe Hotel zu dem Thema angeschrieben, aber keine Antwort erhalten. Grundsätzlich ist das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Nice hotel, well maintained. We had a good meal in the attached restaurant, The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, beyond what we would normally expect. Hotel is across the street from where busses to Milford Sound pick up passengers - very convenient. Hotel is within walking distance from shopping and the lake, but this involves a fairly long climb or taxi ride to get back to the hotel (I'm 76 and in good condition, so the climb was OK for me other than working up a good sweat). We are happy to recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed this hotel. We booked the room with the washer and dryer, and that was very nice to have in room. Location is very close to all the shops and restaurants, there is a hill you have to go up to return to the hotel (5 minutes or so), but it was very manageable and wouldn't deter me from coming back. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. We didn't get the breakfast, but we went into the restaurant every morning for espresso.
