Lovely apartment / motel right on lake Taupo.
Large space with very comfortable bed and decent sized shower room with powerful shower.
Owners were lovely , friendly and helpful.
Good communal barby and a lovely outside seating area.
Definitely stay again.

The staff at Sails on the Lake were top notch, everyone was so nice and helpful! We loved the location as it was right across from the public beach and super close to downtown shops and restaurants! We also loved the kitchen setups in the rooms to make a quick breakfast or dinner before our busy days! Would 100% recommend this resort to anyone traveling in the area!

The rooms were spacious, with great amenities and a fantastic view. The location was incredibly convenient, with easy walking access to restaurants and stores. However, the air conditioning is located in the living room and struggles to cool one of the bedrooms, even with the door open. Additionally, one staff member was rude during checkout, which was disappointing.
