The location was perfect for getting aound and enjoying the old part of town and the harbour. Would definetely come back!

A great Stay in Bergen. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the city. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous and evening meals welcome after a day exploring.

Although there was a hospitality strike when we stayed with a limited service the hotel staff were generally very helpful and also upgraded us to a room with a view over the Bryggen harbour which was lovely.

We enjoyed staying in this historical hotel. It was very walkable to all the local sites. The hotel was affected by the strike and our room wasn't serviced during our 3 day stay. That took away from our enjoyment of the hotel.

All the employess at this hotel were wonderful and very helpful people.

If you want to stay in Bryggen and be close to all of the tourist attractions, this is a great place. Everything is super easy to get to on foot - even the downtown zone. We even walked to Nordnes one day and even that was only about 25 minutes on foot and a lovely walk. The sauna was wonderful and super clean, and there were coffee, tea, and cookies or pastries served every afternoon. The breakfast is vast and amazing and there is also a dinner buffet included. Dinner is not as extensive as breakfast, but would be great for families or those looking to save some money on food, which can be quite expensive in Bergen. We stayed twice with this hotel during our time in Norway. One time in a superior double, and once in a deluxe double. The deluxe was MUCH nicer. Had a view, bigger windows, and even included two chairs and a sofa! That said, the superior was really nice as well, just a little dark and could have used a refrigerator like the other one had. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in Bryggen.

Super convenient location, 2 minutes walk to fish market and floyen. Great breakfast. Had a junior suite which has a harbor view. Room is spacious and clean. Only issue is bathtub drain water very slow.

Friendly team. Bathroom a little tired and need updating. Room spacious and airy. Very good breakfast options. Excellent location.

Despite an ongoing strike they were ready upon our arrival. A previous reservation at a competing hotel had cancelled us at the last minute. An excellent location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The breakfast was bountiful and delicious. We could not board our ship until 2pm so they allowed us to stay two hours past regular checkout. Thanks!

Very good location but older hotel and very loud outside. Hotel staff was not very friendly and the elevator was broken while we were there which was unfortunate. Overall good for location but not much else.

Hôtel très bien placé, à bryggen. Idéal pour visiter la ville. La chambre est agréable. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel.

Awesome all around

The Breakfast was amazing!! The highlight was the Brown Cheese, the Strawberry jam and the Kaviar.

Perfect location, beautiful rooms and wonderful breakfast. The staff was very helpful, too!

Had a great stay here! The room is super cozy, and the bathroom has heated floors. Breakfast was amazing with a great selection of bread, jams, cheese, and toppings. Everything is so well decorated, and the staff so friendly. Great location - only a few minutes away from fish market, cruise stations, restaurants and museums.

The room was spacious and clean, with spare bedding provided as well an iron/ironing board and hairdryer Unfortunately there was industrial action taken place effecting the hospitality imdustry and the bar and restaurant were closed for evening meals/drinks, so am unable to comment. However the staff were extremely helpful in providing glasses and ice etc for your room. Breakfast had a good selection of cold foods and cereals, with a small hot selection of scrambled/fried/boiled eggs, crispy fried bacon, small frankfurters, beans and oats. Located off the main roads and our room was quiet with no noise herd from outside.

Despite the some of the catering staff and cleaning staff being on strike in the whole of Norway we managed to have a fantastic breakfast every day and sometimes if we were around Fika in the afternoon. We didn’t get the rooms cleaned so we tidied up ourselves every day, loved the room. The view was fantastic. The bed was super comfy. We had plenty of towels. We were supposed to get dinner included due to the strike this wasn’t to be, this was a really big disappointment because the food is outstanding usually in these hotels and we hadn’t budgeted to have to go out every night to buy dinner so this was a major financial blow.
