The hotel staff was excellent any time we had a question or request. The hotel is located right across the tourist information center and really central to all the shops by the pier. The area does get busy when there are cruise ships in port but we used those days to go explore elsewhere. The daily breakfast has a good selection of food to choose from and if you are departing early will provide you a box to take it with you.

A very nice property with excellent staff in the heart of Bergen. Good value for the price. Thankful for that as prices for everything else quite compared to Canadian prices. Great holiday and two night stay.

Unfortunately, I was hugely disappointed with the tiny bathroom. The sink for washing hands and brushing teeth is as small as an airplane sink. The room is also small, but acceptable. Cleaning is only available if requested a day in advance (I don't think it would be a problem if it was cleaned properly). The breakfast is good and doesn't change. The same options every day. I expected more from the hotel.

The hotel is right in the middle of the city centre so you are very close to everything, yet not noisy at all. The staff were very friendly, efficient and we checked in and out with no issues. The room was basic but we picked the harbour view which was beautiful and the bed was so comfy. The curtains were also amazing, blocking out the morning light if you are after a lie in.

Vi bodde to netter på Scandic Torget i september. Rommet var stort og lyst med utsikt mot Vågen. Vi satt pris på kjøleskapet og muligheten til å kjøpe med drikke og mat. Sengen var passe hard. Heldigvis var det doble vinduer på rommet slik at vi ikke ble forstyrret av trafikken. Frokosten var som vanlig på Scandic bra. Det eneste ankepunktet var teppet i gangen som ikke er optimalt for rullestolbrukere.
