The room was great and the common area is nice too. WiFI and AC worked great. My only complaint is that I couldn't find anyone when I tried to check in. There is no office. Everything is conducted remotely. Once I was clued into this, it went much more smoothly - but for awhile I thought I might have to just leave and find another place.

Nos habíamos quedado aquí antes, en otra habitación, y nos fue muy bien, por eso decidimos volver. La cama es súper cómoda y la habitación es espaciosa. Además, piden no entrar con zapatos, lo que hace pensar que todo debería estar muy limpio. Sin embargo, las alfombras tipo esponja en los baños están bastante manchadas y no transmiten sensación de higiene, sobre todo porque no es un material fácil de lavar después de cada estadía. Creemos que sería mejor usar toallas de piso simples, para que el espacio se sienta más limpio.

First thing…this is not a hotel in the standard sense…more like a hostel with a shared common area. if you want more privacy you may be ok with one of the stand alone casitas. Also our room had no hot water except a suicide shower so just be aware. Check-in was more like a condo with a key box. not really a big deal just wasn’t ready for that. We did a standard room an it was tight and the ac blew right on our face so again another room may have been much better. Garden was beautiful and views form yeh shred living was very nice. Perhaps if we had been staying longer and had a better room i’d have felt differently as the view, common areas with a kitchen you could cook your own food would have been nice. Had we chose a different room it amy have been a great place. Just wasnt prepared. wanted a hotel and got something different.

Lors de notre séjour à Boquete, nous avons séjourné dans cet établissement proposant à la fois des chambres individuelles dans une grande bâtisse ainsi que des logements indépendants. Pour notre part, nous avons opté pour une petite villa.
L’arrivée en autonomie est un véritable point fort, tout comme la communication avec le gérant en amont, qui a été claire et efficace. Les photos publiées sur le site sont fidèles à la réalité, ce qui est appréciable.
Cependant, nous avons été déçus par certains aspects du logement. Une humidité importante était visible sur les murs, avec des traces apparentes. De plus, plusieurs fils sortaient du mur et autour de la télévision, donnant une impression de désordre, de manque d’entretien et soulevant des questions sur la sécurité.
Ces éléments ont malheureusement entaché notre expérience globale.

It wasn't what I expected. A room where I was asked to take my shoes off when inside. Contactless check-in was a hassle. Got a question - ask the Virtual Assistant. I don't have a problem with new trends, but when it comes to stays, I prefer the human contact.

Great little spot with nice atmosphere. Walking distance to town. Great staff.
The kitchen is shared, which worked well for us.
The check-in process is virtual, which was different for me. Once I set up WhatsApp on my mobile device, it was easy. The virtual staff was very responsive. Lots of guidance was given on using the Villa facilities and local attractions and dining.

DOOR DOESN’T LOCK. I was able to open my room door while it was locked. Felt very unsafe. Tiny room in a VERY public space. Had to walk through a kitchen full of strangers to arrive at my room, there is no other entrance. Very noisy neighbors all night, got no sleep. Room is clean and area is nice looking but that’s it. Very expensive for what they offer. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Terrible experience.

Generell ist die Unterkunft super ausgestattet und auch in einer tollen Lage - fußläufig war alles in Boquete gut erreichbar. Der Online-Check-In und Erreichbarkeit bei Fragen hat super geklappt. Bei genauerem Hinsehen war es an der ein oder anderen Stelle nicht ganz so sauber (aber aushaltbar) und auch die Matratze könnte mal wieder ausgetauscht werden.
Außerdem ein Hinweis: während die Location sonst super ruhig und erholsam ist, war es während des mehrtägigen Festivals „Feria de Flores y Café“ im Januar leider bis spät in die Nacht (4:00 Uhr) extrem laut und an Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Dafür kann die Location natürlich nichts, aber trotzdem vielleicht good to know…

Nice facility. Seems no one wanted to cook, including us. It is in town and can be noisy on the weekends. Staff was very accommodating to our requests. You can leave your luggage in the lobby if you get there too early for check in or too late for check out; it’s not secured so you might want to bring a lock. Fortunately, wasn’t an issue.
Boquete is humid. There may have been a little mold in the bathroom. I wasn’t going to look that closely.
There’s a little bit of a hill to climb to get there. Very close to shops, restaurants, river, park, etc.

The WhatsApp front desk was very responsive to any questions and we appreciated the way they communcated. The room in this old house was huge! The bed was comfortable. The thing that bothered me was that most of the floorboards of the hardwood floor were loose. This meant every step was very loud. It was not pleasant when getting up in the middle of the night. I felt bad for other guests in the building.
