Kaaro Hotel Puno

Good breakfast. Lots of blankets but no heating. Water hot except for later in evening in the shower.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was within walking distance of many restaurants. The breakfast was good quality. I had hot water both days when I showered. There is no heat which is typical of hotels in Peru. The hotel did provide a really thick extra blanket.

Unfortunately, I can't give it more than 3 starts. Whats good: - Localization great. - Breakfast is simple, but good - The room has a working/organizational table - Bed was comfortable What was bad: - Every single day I had netwrok issues. I spend the week working from the hotel and missed important meetings because of that. I sen't messages every day to them and there were no improvements. It's not a Puno problem because anywere else the wifi was stable. - Shower. That was the worse part. I think 4 out of the 5 days I stayed I had to call them to heat my shower. Then they would do something and the water would get hot. I mean... I'm in a hotel. In a place that's 2 degrees celsius. And the 2 worse parts of this was that the HAD to come to my room to check... he couldn't belive me. So I would take off my clothes to bath, go to the shower, is cold, I would call them, and istead of just waiting I had to put my clothes on because the guy had to check de water. Every time. And the worse of all... I asked if that was happening in every room. He laughed and say no. Why would you keep me in that room then? For gods sake. I'm giving 3 starts because they were all polite and I don't think that's their fault, it seems that the hotel is in low maintenance mode.

Los alrededores están un poco sucios

Ótima estadia. Muito perto da praça principal da cidade. Bom atendimento, café da manhã justo e quarto confortável.

We stay only one night, and was a very nice welcome, good price, very convenient, close of restaurants and buses, for transportation.

普通小酒店，應有都有，對得住個價錢，所以不會要求太多。但硬件上及服務上，酒店也有頗大的進步空間。

This is a lovely Hotel. It is in a great location not far from the main square. It has everything you need including nice little extras like tea and coffee making facilities. The staff are wonderful, polite, efficient, friendly and professional. The breakfast even starts at 06:00 for those with early starts. I would like to thank all the staff at this hotel for the excellent. Highly recommended.

Location is good, close to the center of the city. Staff is nice. But the carpet and blankets have dirty spots. The bathroom is small and sewer is almost clogged.

I had 2 rooms under my reservation, supposedly the same size and amenities, 1 room was extremely smaller than the other one, bathroom was tiny, bath towels old and dirty, I wouldn’t recommend this place

出発が早い時にバナナやチーズパン、リンゴなど朝食を用意してくれた。

This hotel has a good elevator which is very important at this elevation. Good breakfast and you can walk to everything.

Clean, comfortable room. Bathroom is quite small but everything else is good. Decent breakfast. Staff is polite and professional. They allow you to store your luggage and wait in the lounge area if you have a late night bus to catch. Overall a good budget hotel choice in Puno.

Just what we need

Reading the reviews, we were a bit worried that the property would be lacking, however, we were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful and spacious room, a varied and generous breakfast buffet, and a lovely environment overall. We would definitely stay here again!

Ótima localização, perto da Plaza de Armas. Tem elevador e um ótimo chuveiro, o que não é regra no interior do Peru. Café da manhã também é melhor que a média, mas a reposição não é tão boa - recomendo chegar cedo. Pelo preço valeu a pena!

A basic hotel. Met my needs for one night. Breakfast was lacking.
