Terra Andina Colonial Mansion

Habitación limpia y confortable con aire/calor. Muy buen desayuno y un diseño colonial muy bonito. Patio interior precioso , solo que no es al aire libre, no tiene espacios para fumar en ningún sitio del hotel.

Breakfast and customer service was the best part of our stay. Breakfast had a lot of options include make your own waffles. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lobby area is beautiful. Room was TINY with no room to put luggage for 2 anywhere. Window looked out into the hallway. Bathroom was TINY, dirty and can use a deep cleaning or renovation. Also, we were able to hear the couple in the adjoining room through the bathroom vent... we heard their conversation, them going to the bathroom, etc. Unfortunately, they were talking pretty late into the night making it difficult to sleep. Bed was comfortable.

The hotel was in a good area for walking, but a little bit noisy so we didn’t sleep all that well. But we got last-minute emergency rooms after our VRBO reservation host didn’t show up and left us stranded on the street.

My stay in the beautiful Terra Andina Colonial Mansion in Cusco which was a very good experience. The staff was always very helpful with my many questions. We stayed with them before and after our hike on the Inca Trail. They even stored our bag while we hiked. We enjoyed being able to sit in the quiet restaurant for a meal or snack after a busy day.

Great location with walking distance to everything. Large room with all you need. Good ambience with the colonian style. Very friendly and helpful staff. On the negative side: very very cold in the room at night in July despite maxing the heating. Bring your pajamas.

1-star rating because of theft from our luggage. Before we left for the day, we tried to use the in-room safe, but were unable to get it to work. We should have gone to the front desk and had them fix the safe. We left 4 envelopes with money in my husband’s backpack and secured all the latches. We left the hotel at 8 am and returned at noon. Upon our return my husband noticed that the latches on the backpack were open. He looked inside and saw envelopes, but we should have counted the envelopes to insure all were there. We checked out the next morning and went with a private guide in his private car and were out of Cusco for two days. During that entire time, the backpack was either with us or locked in the trunk of his car. Upon returning to Cusco to a different hotel and repacking, we noticed 2 of our envelopes were missing for a total of $700 USD. The 2 envelopes which were not touched had Chilean pesos. Our Cusco guide went with us back to Colonial Mansion to help us with this problem. The room cleaner had been employed there for many years with no problem. They said they could look at security video to see who was in the area during that 4-hour window. We asked them to have the manager call our guide and they took his number and said he would call us that day. They never did. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and has comfortable beds, but if you choose to book here, make sure to take all precautions for your valuables. Having $700 stolen leaves sour taste.

Un hotel muy acogedor, limpio y perfecto para pasar unas vacaciones en Cusco, queda a 4 cuadras del centro, lo que hace que estés lo suficientemente cerca, pero lo suficientemente lejos para descansar y no escuchar ruidos de la calle. Nos atendieron muy bien desde la llegada y debido a los tours que salimos muy temprano (4:00 a.m.) nos dejaban una breakfast box para no salir con hambre. Como hacíamos caminatas y nuestros tennis llegaban muy sucios, tienen unas toallas negras especiales para poderlos limpiar un poco. Me encantó este detalle. El único "pero" es que el wifi no llegaba muy bien a la habitación pero no fue necesario, queriamos desconectarnos. De resto, perfecto. Muy recomendado.

Nice hotel centrally located close to points of interest. Good breakfast also. Only issue was the beds were a bit uncomfortable.
