Difficult to walk to the mall though it is one street away. Lack of sidewalks and vehicles blocking pedestrians forcing to walk on busy street. During peak hours, there is competition for any services due to medical school and elementary school students converging along with tourists and visitors.

Arrived at the hotel for check in. I had booked 4 nights and prepaid. The hotel was under renovation and I had to find another hotel late evening. There was no prior notice or cancellation by the hotel. At least Expedia was helpful to get my refund.

The first room we were in, the AC stopped working on the third day. Fortunately, they moved us quickly to another room, which seemed smaller for some reason. We got in the room only to find the bathroom sink clogged. They came by to fix it pretty quickly but that's not the point. It should never get that way. The shower head was another issue...very dirty from the hard water. The breakfast was just okay, nothing to jump up and down about. Probably won't stay here again.

The staff were very accommodating . They work hard to clean it. THe decor is.very dated There are no drawers, just a cupboard with shelving and a rod with 6 hangers. The breakfast buffet is substantial and varies daily. The restaurant service is a bit slow, but the food.is tasty. We had.a nice view.

The pinnacle is a good hotel but it used to be excellent . The staff are still excellent but its beginning to show its age like all other hotels do. The food on the nenu is excellent but the breakfast is limited. The biggest downside i found was the shower curtin. It had clearly seen better days and should have been replaced. Would i stay there again. I am doing.

There were bugs in the room and beddings were dingy, pillows were so lumpy, and the towels were gray which I’m sure were white at one time. When I brought my concern to the staff’s attention they offered me another room but not that much different. They said they have a better room but I will have to pay extra for it. We had a 3 day reservation but checked out in less than 24hrs. I was not spending another penny on this hotel. I don’t know how this hotel even stay in business and I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND booking your stay here.

I have always stayed at Pinnacle when I visit Davao City, and was always happy about my stay…however, on this occasion, I felt the room I was in was not very clean, curtains falling off the rail, facing another bedroom window, toilets not very sanitised.

There were bugs in the room and beddings were dingy, pillows were so lumpy, and the towels were gray which I’m sure were white at one time. When I brought my concern to the staff’s attention they offered me another room but not that much different. They said they have a better room but I will have to pay extra for it. We had a 3 day reservation but checked out in less than 24hrs. I was not spending another penny on this hotel. I don’t know how this hotel even stay in business and I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND booking your stay here.

I have always stayed at Pinnacle when I visit Davao City, and was always happy about my stay…however, on this occasion, I felt the room I was in was not very clean, curtains falling off the rail, facing another bedroom window, toilets not very sanitised.
