We had the pleasure of staying in the Club Room during our recent staycation, and we couldn’t be more impressed. Special shout out to the service provided by the Club Lounge staffs especially Janet. They were not only professional and efficient, but also incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly. Every interaction felt personal and thoughtful — they always greeted us with a smile and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Whether it was offering recommendations, remembering our preferences, or simply checking in to see if we needed anything, their hospitality truly elevated our experience. Thanks to their outstanding service, our staycation turned into a relaxing and memorable getaway. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The best part of my stay was being able to get a room in the evening for 30 minutes to take a shower. My flight was very late and I had a long day at an expo, so I really needed a shower and they did not give me a key to the gym, they gave me a key to a real room where I had space to lay my things out and take a much needed shower.

We had a good four night stay; the room was nice and the amenities were solid. The only issue was a kids soccer team was staying there the same time as us and the pool was overtaken by rowdy, loud kids all day so it wasn’t super relaxing sitting by the pool when we wanted some down time. The location is great; very walkable and close to transit and dining options

Robertson hotel was a wonderful experience in a colonial style but modern building. Amenities included good sized open air pool, gym, reading/relaxation rooms, etc concierge took our bags to our room and didn't stop for a tip!
Concierge also gave us local knowledge which made the stay more productive.
Breakfast, though not cheap, was varied, plentiful and excellent, with a lot of local produce that set us up for the day.
Reception was the only disappointment as it was usually understaffed at peak times which meant long waits to see anyone. Overall a lovely place to stay.

The check in staff was not very friendly and welcoming, very matter of fact. The room is outdated and you can see the visible wear and tear (like the toilet sets, the spots growing on the caulk around the shower). And most importantly, the room has a musky smell and it did not dissipate throughout the night.

Hotel is in a good location. Easy access to Clarke Quay, MRT and bus service. Plenty of bars and eating places nearby. Downside was cleanliness of room at check-in - had to request carpet hoovered as covered in bits and sweet wrappers from previous occupants. Also faucet in bathroom had toothpaste from previous occupant. As is standard practice I left a dirty towel on floor of shower to find after housekeeping it was still there even though clean towels left

The good things first:
Reasonably clean hotel with, a nice room, and a dated bathroom.
Probably a nice hotel for vacationers, but not for business travellers.
The breakfast is too chaotic. There are long queues for coffee, and it takes too long to get a morning meal and coffee.

Hotel staff were efficient but some were not very personable. There was nowhere in the hotel to relax other than my room. There is a reading room which would have been a nice place to chill but I was told it was not included in my booking. The room was empty. Only one supply of complimentary water for the whole stay. During dinner one evening my unfinished meal and drink were cleared away while I was in the toilet. One evening was a steak night when you are served 2 or 3 different types of steak. In order to discourage waste customers have to pay 100 dollars for every 100g of meat not eaten. This is unnecessarily punitive given that the portions are excessive. Too many negatives for me to recommend despite being a good location.
