Hôtel assez luxueux. Chambre très spacieuse avec jacuzzi privé. Le personnel est très attentionné. Repas qui n’est pas tout à fait à la hauteur du niveau de l’hôtel. Un bel endroit qui mérite une halte dans notre séjour. Un petit soucis avec l’eau chaude, mais il semble que ce soit le cas dans tous les hôtels au Sri Lanka. Pas de salle de sport, assez surprenant pour un hôtel de ce standing.

Flott hotell. Fint rom med god takhøyde og fin utsikt i øverste etasje. Hoteller har ikke tilknytning til strand, men har eget basseng og en innsjø like ved. Det er gangavstand ned til uppuveli beach. Vi hadde frokost inkludert. Denne var helt ok. Smothie var absolutt ikke en riktig beskrivelse av baren sin meny av mango youghurt med melkeblanding. Boblebadet var ikke tett, noe som medførte at vi fikk besøk av flere ufarlige firfisler. Uteområdet er ikke stort. Ro og fred ved bassenget er avhengig av gjestene. Nydelig utsikt for solnedgang ved innsjøen hvor man kan få eget bord uten tillegg.

The hotel is amazing ! We took the junior suite and was better than expected. The room was specious, clean and a jacuzzi too. We had the view on the pool which was great. The staff , the manager was super lovely...alway there to please you...and we had a good laugh with the 2 gents at the bar 😉 thank you. The food was also very very nice. I highly recommend that hotel you will not be disappointed....

Very large comfortable rooms with great view over river. Nice pool. Good restaurant. Buffet dinner a little expensive and don’t agree with service charge added to breakfast or dinner buffet when it is basically self service! However plenty of a la carte options including excellent fish curry. Free bikes available for use.

Excellent staff, location and very serene!!

Beautiful place

This is the best hotel in Trincomalee. The staff are the loveliest, kindest staff, and they made our time there feel like home. The food is a choice of traditional Sri Lankan food as well as European/US, but they even made us egg hoppers on request.... Its that we're not on the menu. So I cannot praise them highly enough. We will return here.

We got a friendly greeting when we arrived and drinks brought to us on Reception. All staff are very friendly. The room was beautiful and very spacious. We had a junior suite and it was the best room I’ve ever stayed in. We were able to add room service and meals to our bill to pay by card when we checked out. There are ATM’s nearby if you want to get some cash. We gave tips at the end of our stay. It was helpful that the documentation from the hotel states that charges include a service charge so you aren’t expected to tip as you go along every day. There was a decent choice of room service meals, drinks and desserts available and these seemed to be available any time. They were reasonably priced - like UK prices but more than normal Sri Lanka prices. We just paid for room only as we thought we would be out and about a lot. We tried breakfast once at the hotel and it was alright. We had dinner once which again was alright. Room service meals were good. My daughter loved the milkshake and brownies. I would recommend getting a local SIM card from a small shop near the hotel. I got a ‘Hutch’ SIM card. I was surprised that the shop staff need to take a photo of your passport when you buy one. We could then access Google Maps and find attractions, etc nearby. The hotel was great with friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. You can walk to the beach in 5 mins. There are lots of stray dogs around but all seem friendly. The pool is nice at the hotel too. We loved it all!

Hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Many things in room broken or not working, e.g. kettle leaking, plugs not working, door handle of bathroom door almost falling off. Housekeeping standards well below expectation, amenities not replenished, e.g. shower gel, tissues, toilet paper. No visible management around the hotel.

GREAT ROOM CLOSE TO NICE POOL

Séjour entre amis. Les juniors suite avec jacuzzi ont une superbe vue sur la lagune. Elles sont très grandes et la literie est très confortable. Restaurant avec buffet et grillades de seafood top. Petit déjeuner excellent avec de tres bonnes gaufres et d'excellentes panecake à la banane
