Excellent view from the room. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend for anyone who doesn't mind a 15 minute walk from the city centre to get a room with unobstructed views. Breakfast is also 10/10, served at the rooftop patio.

The view of the room wasn’t as clear as shown in the pictures, as a large tree was blocking most of it. The room also had a damp smell. We booked for three people, but there was no mosquito net on one of the beds and only two teacups were provided. The soap dispenser was empty, there was no hot water throughout, no air conditioner and the electric circuit tripped numerous time during our one night stay. That said, the host was very polite and welcoming, and his dog was definitely the star of the show.

Best view in the whole city. we stayed in room no. 8 and i am sure we had the best room. the host is very welcoming and made the best breakfast. the walk to the city was easy and quick. there is no parking and the water pressure is low, but we can definitely recommend staying here. don't hesitate, the place gets 10/10❤️

It's fascinating to wake up in a room with the great mountains view and tasty Sri Lank breakfast. The owner also offers tuk-tuk ride in Ella. They have one-day package and one ride. The location is a bit far fr city center, it’s better because of quiet. Each tuk-tuk ride between hotel to city center is LRK 500.

My stay was incredible! The balcony view was mesmerizing, and I could've gazed at it for hours. Everything was flawless, and the owner's delicious breakfasts made it even better. They ensured we felt right at home.

Nice place, lovely people and amazing view. The downside for me was no ac plus very high humidity. I struggled with this.

We felt at home in Ella Ridge View, so much we stayed an extra night. The property is ideally situated to walk to the town centre (10min), Nine Arch Bridge (30min), Little Adam’s Peak (1hr) and Ella Rock (2hr), all places we would highly recommend visiting, especially Little Adam at sunrise. The family live in a house next to the accommodation and they made us feel so welcome. They helped us with trips, way finding and were very attentive to our needs at the accommodation. The view from the room was spectacular, we could see across the value to Ella Rock. While the room did not have AC it was not an issue because it was cool in the forest and the tan sufficed, the excellent fridge and comfortable bed helped too. The bathroom was clean and towels plush. There was a family of monkeys that live in the trees locally and we spent an afternoon watch them feed on the bananas near the balcony. It is just a shame I can’t upload the video here. I have uploaded photos of the best breakfast we have had in Sri Lanka. Sameera makes it all fresh and it is absolutely delicious. We had hoppers and roti, fruit and juices that were all fantastic. I would stay for the breakfast alone, it’s the reason we stayed another night. Thanks you Sameera and family for making our Ella stay so special.

Beautiful view from the balcony. Good large room. Great Sri Lankan breakfast but way too much for us to eat everything. A little hard to find as we arrived at night but the location is great once it's daylight. Owner very friendly & helpful.

Amazing and Beautiful location. can walk to town or to sightseeing. Higly recommended. Staff were very kind and the breakfast was fresh and wonderful. The view from apartment were stunning and also views at breakfast lookout

The location & hospitality by Lasantha was amazing. He cooked us authentic Sri Lankan breakfast every morning, organised Tuk Tuk's at affordable prices & suggested a local cave to visit. Always helpful, exceptional service & pristine mountain view location. I highly recommend the hotel

The views are incredible. The staff are very helpful, they arranged a tuk tuk for us from the station and brought us breakfast each morning at a time of our choosing. It was great.

There are several inaccuracies with the listing. There is no reception. There is no lift. There is no cafe There are steps leading up to the rooms. And it goes on. This is a humble homestay. Not a guesthouse / hotel. It is also not registered with the Tourism Board as all properties accepting paying guests are required to do. The property was quite difficult to find, the signage was quite obscure. I found the room musty on arrival and had to leave doors open for a while to air it. The toilet decor was weird and I couldn’t make out if the toilet was clean or not. The bed sheets did not feel clean. I was woken up around midnight by a very strange noise. I could not make out what it was. Breakfast was super. It did not meet my expectations unfortunately. The owners were very nice and did all they could to please

Il panorama paga il prezzo. É in un luogo alto quindi lontano dai rumori del centro. 10 minuti a piedi al centro e 15 alla stazione . Le colazioni sono abbondanti. Non fa servizio lunch

Dette ophold var helt fantastisk. Ejeren var meget sød og hjælpsom. Han kom med morgenmad hver morgen, som smagte virkelig godt. Det ligger et rigtig godt sted med flot udsigt. Jeg kan klart anbefale jer at bo her.
