We really enjoyed our stay as the service was exceptional and staff were very attentive. The rooms are modern with beautiful views of the mountain. We booked half board and felt it was good value. On our last night the staff even coordinate a candle lit dinner from the roof top. Would definitely stay at skyloaf again if we were to go back to Kandy.

Loved the great views from the property and the very friendly staff. Location a bit out of the way and very difficult to drive to as quite steep narrow roads in places. Room we had was just average nothing bad just nothing to make me think yeah that was a nice room.

Great hotel,but would never book here again the road up to the hotel is steep and windy.It was raining so really slippery and extremely narrow. I was nervous driving on this road and I had a hired driver 😬

The views from this hotel are beautiful. The location is very hard to find, in spite of signage, which had faded from the sun. Google Maps does not take you directly to the hotel, instead it has you driving anywhere but to the hotel. The hotel staff seemed frazzled and disorganized. The dinner was a buffet, while not delicious, it was sustenance. However, the cleaning staff and staff in the restaurant were very kind and accommodating.

A very nice Hotell on the top of the mountain away from the city-noice. Good standard on the rooms. Buffet at the breakfast - Good variation. A nice bar at the top of the hotel with a nice view to the valley. The WiFi sucks - didn’t work any place at the hotel. We told the management m, but they couldn’t do anything.

We enjoyed our stay and the hotel is nice/new, with beautiful views. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Our main comment is that the location is a bit remote, so there are no food options within walking distance, with the hotel restaurant (which was ordinary) being the only option.

The location was great, really quite far from town but that’s fine if you have a tuk tuk driver you can call. Beds and linen are very comfortable. You might be need ask for a blanket though as the temp is coolish and there wasn’t one in the bed or wardrobe. They hung onto my bigger luggage (free of charge) while I went up to Dambulla for a night to visit Sigiriya, which was invaluable. It was a newish hotel when i stayed so hopefully they will have finished the building on the rooftop that was continuing when I was there (July 18). Lots of personal questions from the staff about why I was a woman travelling alone, but that’s Lanka!! The wi-Fi was pretty woeful but again, you’re in the mountains! Pretty area.

This hotel is limited in many ways. Though the bed was nice and comfortable, the bathroom water did not stay hot for more than 3 minutes. We also found serval hairs stuck in the rugs. Additionally, do not include the prepaid meals if you stay here. The dinner is terrible and the food choices are limited to 3-4 options, all which include meat which is not cooked well. They do not give a proper appetizer, soup or dessert and you can tell it’s because they are being very cheap. Alcohol is also marked up significantly. This hotel is in the hills of Kandy making it nice for nightly walks, however, there is literally nothing around, including no shops or places to purchase food, drinks, etc. Its about a 15-20 minute ride to the center of town and very steep. The only thing that was nice about this hotel is the view. I would suggest staying elsewhere.

We booked two rooms and stayed one night. Surprisingly, the hotel is modernly furnished and the rooms are clean with very good condition. Very good view as the hotel is at the top of the mountain. We went up to the roof to enjoy the awesome scenery, very relaxing. The set dinner is tasteful and we highly recommended to book the rooms with half board. The staff of the hotel are very helpful. It is suggested to arrive the hotel before dark as the road to the hotel is narrow and no light.

提前三月并完成付费的这家酒店，居然在我们辛苦到达酒店时告诉我们没房了，追其原因，说是忽略了我们的订单！简直荒谬！！住过那么多次酒店，第一次遇到这种奇葩. 这家酒店也不值得选择，在一个很偏僻的山顶上，一路开过去很不易，全是很窄的路。
