Miracle City Inn Hostel

Location is what makes this hostel worth the money. It's worn out and not in very good condition but for basic sleeping it's fine for its price. Dorms are in good condition but public facilities aren't. First two days no hot water and on second day no water at all for like half a day.

Very clean, air con and fan, big bathroom and a nice terrace.

Falta de comunicação entre os funcionários. Quando cheguei a recepcionista disse que tinha restaurante no rooftop do hotel, cheguei la para jantar e os funcionários que estavam no rooftop disseram que não havia nenhum restaurante. Além disso eu havia pago o café da manhã na minha reserva e a recepcionista disse que eu não havia pago, depois de um tempo encontrou uma reserva e se desculpou por isso, então agendei o café da manhã para as 8h no dia seguinte, cheguei la e começaram a preparar o café apenas em torno das 8:20 (sendo que eu tinha horário para pegar meu trem e não poderia atrasar). Na hora de fazer o check out o funcionário que estava na recepção disse que eu não tinha direito ao café da manhã. Ou seja, a recepcionista não anotou novamente (pela segunda vez o erro). Outros pontos: estava faltando toalhas de banho no quarto, quando solicitei as toalhas na recepção os funcionários que ali estavam começaram a falar no idioma deles entre eles discutindo na minha frente (ou seja, falta de profissionalismo e falta de comunicação entre funcionários do hostel, pois não deveria estar faltando as toalhas no quarto). E último ponto: Wi-Fi fraco.

Got private bed and bath. Its a basic hostel with basic furniture and amenities. There was s some deferred deep cleaning that needs to happen but overall ok. Staff was ok. The walk way to the hostel is next to a the back entrance to the Prime Minister’s residence. You have to ask the security where the path is, luckely they are pretty friendly. Good part is price is reasonable and the location is good for Colombo

予定の部屋がエアコン故障の為別の出入口近くの部屋だったので、スタッフの話し声が遅く迄聴こえて煩かった。

I am happy.

It's a quiet place in the vicinity of liberty plaza and Gangaramaya in Colombo. In the beginning was having doubts till I went in and spoke to the owner. Friendly and Helpful staff. Comfortable dorms and with Bunk beds. For the price can't complain at all. Overall I'm happy. Not disable friendly. Definitely recommend.

Confortable bed, good location, quiet, kind staff.

L entrée du bâtiment très dur à trouver . Il fallait faire le tour , monter à l’étage sans aucun panneau. Ils ont pratiquer l overbooking donc on nous a emmener à 2 km de la guest house.en pleine ville. Attention. Penser à prendre le numéro de téléphone !

This place is wonderful. I stopped here to get myself sorted upon arrival. The rooftop is a lovely place to hang out in the evening. Gayan saved me a trip back to Colombo by arranging some assistance to sort out my visa extension and it was much less expensive than any option I found. The hostel is safe, clean, and affordable, all staff are friendly and very helpfulj. I'm arranging to stay again before my flight home.

Good clean bathroom and showers. Secure small lockers for valuables. And locked under bed storage for bags. The bed (although very big!) was just too uncomfortable for me and I didn’t sleep at all. But for the money it’s great value!

オーナー含めてスタッフさん全員が親切にしてくれる。駅からは少し離れていますがトゥクトゥクで10分くらい、200ルピーくらい。

Great host, very open and warm welcome, makes everything happen and dedicated to the guests. Keep it on!

Miracle City Inn Hostel is a great value for either a short or long stay in Colombo. It’s newly renovated, well-designed, and quiet. The rooftop is a nice spot to enjoy morning coffee or tea (or a beer at sunset), and they have lots of other amenities, as well, like a dartboard, fooseball table, soundsystem, and projector/screen for watching movies. They also helped us with our laundry and charged a reasonable rate (compared to other laundry services in the area). And then there is the staff. What a warm, kind and helpful group of people. We enjoyed talking with them and learning from them, and they were full of helpful tips as we were planning our visit to Sri Lanka. They also run a travel agency on the first floor so there is a lot of knowledge in that building. If we find ourselves in Colombo again, we’d stay here and would definitely recommend it if you’re visiting the area.
