Centara Muscat Hotel Oman

The staff was amazing. Aya at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was small, the area around the hotel is dark but atleast there is a good number of restaurants around it

Hotel internazionale, molto pulito, lo consiglio, unico difetto, i taxi sono difficilmente reperibili e l’hotel ti indirizza ad un autista di fiducia che non adotta tariffe molto chiare, bisogna contrattare i prezzi Personalmente non mi è piaciuto come aspetto

Love the motel

This was an awful stay that forced us to check out after the first night because of the poor service experienced at the hotel. Check in was slow and we were told to sit and wait despite arrived almost two hours after check in. The room we were given did not have a bath as requested and were told to wait another hour to get the correct room. Arrived in the new room which did not have hand soap, hand towels or an extra blanket. Had to call all the options on the phone over 8 times before finally getting through to reception and requesting soap and extra blanket. We were brought soap and toothbrushes (???) and told they would come back with the blanket. Had to call again half an hour later because it didn't come. None of the restaurants were open for food and we were told they are not taking orders at the roof top cafe because of a function that evening. The next morning we requested to cancel the second night and check out. The front manager Mr Nasser tried to offer us free things and upgrades to make our stay better but we just wanted to leave and head back to UAE. He told us he could not approve refunds and to wait to meet the hotel manager Mr Ebrahim at 12pm. We wasted half the day waiting for him and he didn't arrive. Then left the hotel to see the city and came back at 6pm and were told he's gone and can't see us. Don't stay at this hotel. Overall poor service and response and we are still waiting on hotels.com and the hotel to sort out our refund for the second night.

This has become my go to hotel for whenever I am in Muscat. Very reasonable price and great amenities. Would love to have stayed longer

Pool, room and staff were all excellent

This hotel is value for the money you pay. It is not near anything (a small supermarket across the road), convenient for the airport though. The hotel has several restaurants but only one is open any given day. The rooftop terrace is also behind a locked door when the roof restaurant is not open. Pool is small and often doesnt have space. The rooms are ok and clean enough.

Great police to stay

Moderne hotell, store rom, god frokost og hyggelig betjening. Gunstig pris.

Insgesamt alles in Ordnung, das Hotel war sehr gepflegt, die Zimmer sauber und das Personal freundlich. Schade war dass wir erst um 15:30 Uhr einchecken konnten, obwohl der CheckIn ab 14Uhr möglich sein soll. Daher wenn möglich lieber später kommen ankommen. Der Pool war sehr schön, die Dachterrasse ebenfalls. Die Dachterrasse war aber leider geschlossen, was dazu führt, dass sie gar nicht betreten werden darf. Schade! Insgesamt aber ein nettes Hotel.

Rigtig fin hotel til prisen, lidt kedeligt område. God morgenmad og sødt og venligt personale.

Stanza molto grande, compreso il bagno. Letti comodi. Buona colazione varia. Per cena possibilita' di mangiare nell'annesso ristorante thailandese (non male). Apprezzato anche il sistema di approvvigionamento dell'energia dal solare. Piccola ma accogliente piscina sul tetto della struttura.

Lovely stay at Centara. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Nice service. Used the massage service which was nice. Didn't try the food though. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Good value for money, easy parking and good service

Centara was once a good hotel. That is evident. But, at this stage, it's resting on its laurels. The rooms are nice and large, but housekeeping suffers. I killed a cockroach in the room, but the hotel never followed up with pest control, even after I had reported it. There's a nice pool on the roof, but it needs maintenance. The gym is quasi abandoned. Staff is inattentive and dismissive. They're not rude. They fake interest and never follow up on requests. A good manager will whip Centara into shape, but they need to have in place.

Really nice hotel with nice pool on the rooftop. Nice staff.
