Kempinski Style. Very well maintained. Great extra service. Big shower. Looking for a solution when something is not available at first. Very friendly. Not expecting tipp but very happy about it. Well trained staff.

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and an inviting reception area that creates a great first impression. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with well-maintained interiors reflecting high standards. Rooms were spacious, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed. Housekeeping was outstanding—always available and ensuring everything remained spotless. Small but thoughtful touches like premium tea, bath salts, and luxury toiletries enhanced the stay. A great example of their attentiveness was when they noticed me drying swimwear on the balcony and, without being asked, brought up a clothes dryer. It’s those little gestures that truly elevate service. An upgraded room was a wonderful way to start the trip—thank you! The heated pool was a perfect temperature, but at 1.5m deep throughout, it wasn’t ideal for younger kids. The children's pool, however, was too shallow, leaving kids aged 4-11 unable to explore independently. The hotel brochure should highlight this, as it might affect booking decisions. Valet parking was notably absent, which felt disappointing for a hotel charging £500-1500 per night during peak seasons. Using basement parking and entering through the back wasn't ideal. Reception staff were polite but unremarkable. Breakfast was fantastic—great selection, top-quality food—but staff tension was visible. Beach staff were excellent, and the location was premium. A great stay with room for small improvements.

The best hotel i have ever been the breakfast was fantastic equally the dinner and most importantly the staff and the service was very excellent, especially i want thank Amal the receptionist for here help with some office work. I will be staying back soon

My stay at Kempinski and trip to Oman were fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to help, and made me feel at home. The hotel’s ambiance was both luxurious and welcoming, making it a truly relaxing experience. I would definitely love to return!

Wir (Familie mit zwei Kindern, 2 & 4.5 Jahre alt) hatten einen hervorragenden Aufenthalt im Kempinski Hotel Muskat. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite, welche für eine Familie mit zwei kleine Kindern genug Platz bot. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und sauber. Hervorzuheben ist das aussergegwöhnlich gute Essen in den verschiedenen Restaurants. Wir hatten Halbpension und assen an 5 von 6 Abenden vom Buffet des The Kitchen, wo es jeden Abend ein anderes Thema gab (Seafood, Grill, etc.). An einem Abend assen wir im Zale hervorragendes Sushi (Kids Menu gibt es in jedem Themerestaurant). Die Qualität der Lebensmittel und die Auswahl im Buffetrestaurant waren top! Wer also viel Wert au qualitativ gutes Essen legt, ist hier richtig. Wasser, Tee, Kaffee und Softdrinks sind bei der Halbpension ebenso inklusive. Die Preise für Alkohol erfahrungsgemäss in den arabischen Ländern eher hoch (Glas Weisswein ca. CHF 17.-). Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr zuvorkommend, (kinder)freundlich, hilfbereit und herzlich. Die Anlage selbst ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Vom Hotel aus ist The Walk in Al Mouj mit einigen Restaurants und Läden gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

Absolutely loved the hotel! Kempinski Muscat, conveniently located in Al Mouj, was incredible. Just a short walk to The Walk, which offers a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and stunning views. The beach was serene and quiet, making it the perfect getaway!

A brilliant hotel that looks incredible. A sensational lobby with excellent staff who always have a smile on their face which is much appreciated. The hotel rooms are really nice, incredible pool with a gorgeous view and the beach was also really nice! The surrounding area is also quite nice especially The Walk in Al Mouj which has a lot of restaurants and a nice walk way near the marina. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and already missing the hotel.

Unglaublich schönes Hotel mit exzellentem Service! Ein großes Dankeschön an unseren Concierge Rashid, Nara vom Frühstücksteam und das gesamte Team des Thai Restaurants. Der Service war erstklassig, und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen. Jeder Moment war unvergesslich – wir kommen definitiv wieder!
