A perfect location directly across from the train station in Winterhur. The room was very nice and comfortable with good amenities. I enjoyed the choices at breakfast and the location was good for exploring Winterhur as everything was in walking distance. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

First of all the reception was not open when I arrived so the access into the hotel is like air bnb, you get the card to swipe from the locker box close to the entrance door. The rooms are furnished budget style, stains on furniture everywhere. This hotel is run down in many aspects. The breakfast served can not be called breakfast to a 4 star hotel standard. Staff at the restaurant was unfriendly, they would pick the cutlery and crockery in front of you without any excuse if you actually finished your meal. The hotel will charge CHF 50 for 1 hour if you need a late check out. I wish i never stayed this place. It's right across the railway station and didn't feel safe arriving late at night. The pillows were horrible, like two bags filled with mattress foam. The storage room is unsafe as the door of the storage room is open and guests freely leave and take the luggage as they please. It's not monitored who's bag belongs to who so anyone can take what they like.

A decent sized room, airy. Nice comfortable beds.
The room had a tea kettle ( no coffee machine ).
Breakfast was good but surprisingly there was no toaster in the breakfast room.
Also only scrambled eggs and boiled eggs were provided. Our request for fried eggs was turned down.
The hotel is situated only 20 minutes away by train from central Zurich and is located at a very convenient place - right opposite the Winterthur station. There are 30 minutes direct trains to the famous Rhine falls.
There are 2 convenient stores nearby which is helpful. And some good restaurants too.

Die Lage am Bahnhof ist praktisch. Das Zimmer war schön und gross. Das Gebäude ist leider sehr ringhörig, besonders wenn jemand im Zimmer über dir irgendwelche „Umbauarbeiten“ vornimmt.

1. 飯店在火車站後站，要走地下道過來，有電梯可以搭。
2. 今晚我們3個人分住單人房與雙人房，在2樓，都有浴缸。單人房很舒適。
飯店沒有冰箱，有空調，有兩台電梯（1台大、1台小）。
3. 飯店櫃檯在週末是4點下班、平日10點下班，如果來不及CI的人，飯店會發訊息告知門口密碼，打開可以拿到鑰匙，然後去櫃檯拿房卡。
4. 飯店早餐很棒，飲料有咖啡、果汁、牛奶，有水煮蛋和炒蛋，有多種麵包、穀片、優格、水果、果醬、小黃瓜和甜椒、黑棗、堅果、乳酪等。
5.有行李房可以寄放行李（可過夜）

I don’t recommend this hotel if you will be checking in outside their reception hours. They did not provide the instructions until I asked for it, which was only a few hours before I arrived. The instructions were hard to follow — there were 2 ash trays at both sides of the entrance, the “key box” was not too obvious to recognise and it was placed high up with the numbers similar to a luggage/suitcase lock. As there was no staff during the late hours, you run the risk of not being able to get in. I was so close to giving up after ringing the door for probably 30 minutes and I was already looking for another hotel before a staff finally came in.
Room was okay with adjustable lighting (would have been okay if you need a budget hotel for a work trip). Amenities were not as described as there was no kettle or fridge. The bed mattress was poor and the pillows lumpy. Bathroom was okay, but I was glad I brought my own slippers (some sections showed either poor condition or that they were not thoroughly cleaned). The saving grace was the breakfast and the nice lady at reception when I checked out.

We used the hotel as a base to explore Zurich from. The hotel is 30 minutes from Zurich & it will cost you chf26 per person per day to travel in & out of Zurich each day. So please take this cost into account when comparing hotel. If you buy the return ticket, then all your public transport costs in Zurich will b covered for that day, including the lake & river ferry trips. The hotel itself is clean modern & comfortable, the only thing I didn't like was the bathroom, it was in need of an update. Bed was good, pillows very soft, bathroom had bathtub and overhead shower, water pressure good. Staff were helpful and room had good airconditioning. The breakfasts was excellent, with hot & cold choices, only thing missing was a toaster.
All in all a good stay.

Hotel direkt am Bahnhof. Was positiv aufgefallen ist, dass der Bahnhoflärm trotz Zimmer zum Bahnhof nicht wahrnehmbar war.
Frühstück war in Ordnung! Servicepersonal habe ich bis auf Check-in nicht gesehen, also kann ich dieses auch nicht wirklich beurteilen. Der Check-in war rasch und effizient. Die Rezeption war anscheinend in der Nacht nicht besetzt, da ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen wurde, dass man den Zimmerschlüssel unbedingt bei sich tragen muss, da die Türe in der Nacht verschlossen ist. Beim Check-out war der Schlüssel einfach in ein Körbchen zu legen. Das Zimmer war zwar schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und praktisch. Das Bett war gemütlich. Vor allem die dünne Daunendecke empfand ich als sehr angenehm.

AC not working, key fob didn’t work to enter hotel after 10 pm. Room key of room 105, registration form said 205. No clarification which room are we suppose to go? No support after 10 pm.
