Sun Moon Inn, a hidden gem, is a walk to the Sun Moon Lake pier where you can catch the ferry to the various points of interest across the Lake. We get personal touches of useful information from friendly Hana who gives helpful tips of just about anything we need to know for our holiday at the BnB Inn. The room is lovely and has gadgets like a Bluetooth lamp to play music from our handphone. Breakfast is made beautifully and tastefully and personally delivered to our room.

We had an outstanding stay at Sun Moon Inn. We had initially only booked 2 nights, but due to Super Typhoon Gaemi, pretty much everything in Taiwan shut down and we were unable to travel onwards to the next destination in our trip. The staff were really considerate of our situation - we were the only tourists left in the Inn as all other guests left before the typhoon stopped everything. We were assisted with booking an additional night through the Typhoon, and the staff were very generous with delivering us beautiful homemade meals. They didn’t need to do this - they were being kind and looking after us. We really loved our huge room and bathroom and really appreciate the staff looking after us through the typhoon.

Hartanah ini menawarkan pengangkutan pindahan dari stesen kereta api (surcaj boleh dikenakan). Untuk membuat pengaturan daftar masuk, sila hubungi hartanah sekurang-kurangnya 72 jam sebelum ketibaan, menggunakan maklumat pada pengesahan tempahan.Tetamu akan menerima e-mel dalam masa 2 minggu sebelum ketibaan yang mengandungi arahan daftar masuk. Kakitangan berada di meja sambut tetamu untuk masa yang terhad. Jika anda memandu, sila hubungi hartanah ini terlebih dahulu untuk mendapatkan maklumat lanjut (cth., arah). Untuk apa-apa soalan, sila hubungi hartanah menggunakan maklumat pada pengesahan tempahan. Maklumat yang disediakan oleh pihak hartanah mungkin menggunakan alat terjemahan automatik. Satu tempat letak kereta disediakan bagi setiap bilik yang ditempah, tersedia dari 3:30 PM pada hari daftar masuk hingga 11 AM pada hari berikutnya. Tiada sekatan letak kereta semasa penginapan untuk tempahan 2 malam atau lebih. Tetamu yang memerlukan tempat letak kenderaan tambahan atau tempat letak kenderaan lebih masa mesti menghubungi hartanah lebih awal (bayaran dikenakan).

YouTuberまいばるさんの動画でこちらの宿を見てとても素敵だったのでぜひ泊まりたいと思い予約しました。予約完了時から宿のスタッフから宿のルールなどについて細かい連絡があり、きちんとされているな、と感じました。
宿の中は本当に美しく、清掃も行き届いていて、オーナーさんのこだわりが伝わってきました。
スタッフの方もとても親切で、いつも笑顔で対応してくださいました。
日月潭に泊まるならぜひお勧めしたいです。

The owner and staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. I would gladly stay here again.
I was traveling with my mom, who is in her 80s, and she found it a little difficult to get up from the bed, which is low to the floor. Also she kept forgetting that there was a step down from the sleeping/living space and the entry/bathroom, and almost fell a few times. But even she said that she loved staying there and that it was her favorite accommodations of our trip to Taiwan.

The hotel is very beautifully designed with a modern, wood themed feeling. Very zen like. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is delicious and has a local flair, they even delivered to our room. A 5 star stay all said and done.

從高鐵坐客運到水社服務中心下車後走到民宿只要3分鐘，距離市中心3分鐘，租電動車騎到伊達邵很方便。附近有7-11，星巴克，港口，當地小吃都很不錯。

Very Zen ambience. Lots of rules though. No rules that impacted my stay but some of the rules were strange. Such as if you are drinking and vomit on the bed you pay extra for cleaning. It never occurred to me that this was a hotel issue. Luckily I don’t over indulge and fortunately I didn’t get the flu and get sick in bed so it was a non issue. Most of the rules are for Zen environment. The room was large and lots of natural light. The breakfast was delicious served to the room. The staff were helpful and courteous with good information on what to do. All in all a wonderful hotel experience.

Awesome hosts with yummy breakfast each morning and walkable distance to Sun Moon Lake!
We stayed here when a typhoon hits Taiwan. The host kindly offered to make calls for us to figure out the availability of restaurants and activities. We really appreciate it. Having Seven-Elevens nearby also helped a lot.

My family’s summer vacations were always spent at Sun Moon Lake, so after many decades I was curious to see how the area had developed.
The village of Shuishe, where Sun Moon Inn is located, is a great example of the uniquely Taiwanese flair for modernizing without changing the essential local flavor of the place. People there are extremely friendly and accommodating, and this was true many times over of Hana, Elaine, and Nisa, the three capable ladies who run the inn.
The inn is modern and clean, using streamlined design featuring lots of natural elements. The room with balcony we had was huge, with high ceilings, two king beds, and very nice bathroom and shower. Breakfast included with the room was delicious on both days.
The inn is a short walk to the bike rental shop and bike trail; the harbor for boat tours/rides, and the village main street offers many eating options.
Sun Moon Lake is beautiful and worth the visit. Sun Moon Inn is commodious and friendly and cannot be recommended more highly.
