The resort was paradise and any obstacle we encountered was met with kind and immediate action. Food was delicious and an expensive menu to choose from. They even went so far as they did their utmost to combat Mosquitoes which they also did an incredible job at.

Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel. Housekeeping was done daily, and the room was spotless every time. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The pool was enjoyable, and the breakfast was sufficient and filling. The hotel was very quiet, which made for a comfortable stay.
The only downside was its distance from the city center. While some tours usually offer free transfers, they may charge extra due to the hotel’s remote location. Other than that, everything was great.

This has been one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed on. The property is beautiful and has a private beach that is quiet and relaxing. The room has a direct view to the ocean and is spacious and nice. The pool is wonderful and so is the service, all of the restaurants in the hotel are fantastic and have a great variety of food, the staff is generous and nice. Also, the spa has very different therapies that I have never seen in my life, i opted for an Indian head massage and it was wonderful. The fitness center is very complete and they even offer personal training and yoga, TRX, and Pilates lessons. Me and my husband never want to leave!!!

A lovely ten day stay in an ocean view room - the staff were friendly, efficient and a pleasure to deal with!
We used the fitness centre and enjoyed stretch and yoga classes during our stay, the instructors were excellent.
We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and cocktails by the beautiful outdoor pool in the evening. An electric buggy was available on demand to takes us down to the road where a 5 minute walk ended with a plethora of choice of eateries by the sea, including local market food stalls.
We plan to return !

We had a good stay here, apart from food. The spa and wellness program is very good. Staff are very professional and trained. Resort has good view and everything but the food here was little bit disappointing as we are vegetarian and the resorts breakfast spread and restaurants had very limited options. But whatever is available is good and tasteful. I would certainly like to visit here again.

We had a great stay here, very restful and peaceful. Our villa was quiet and perfect with an incredible view. Also incredibly spacious with a huge bathroom. Private beach access was amazing as well. It was the perfect place for our last few days in Thailand!

Restaurants are over priced for the quality of the food, you get better meals at restaurants right outside the gate for a fraction of the cost on site, recommend a place called Eat Me (seriously, that’s what it’s called). Nice grounds. Awesome pool. Beach is charming with swings.

Payed for the most expensive room but hardly received any complimentary services. The complimentary services were there but were minimal.
Amatara is shown to be a wellness resort however you have to pay for all extra packages to do with wellness. The buggy service was very slow and I ended up having to walk up hills.
If you come here for the fascilities and resort then book the budget room. It is not worth the price for the more expensive rooms as it ends up being an inconvenience compared to other hotels where you get better perks from booking a more expensive room room.
We stayed for our honeymoon. would recommend maybe 1 night here max but other than that the amneties are not all that to be splashing out on a long stay here.

A lovely ten day stay in an ocean view room - the staff were friendly, efficient and a pleasure to deal with!
We used the fitness centre and enjoyed stretch and yoga classes during our stay, the instructors were excellent.
We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and cocktails by the beautiful outdoor pool in the evening. An electric buggy was available on demand to takes us down to the road where a 5 minute walk ended with a plethora of choice of eateries by the sea, including local market food stalls.
We plan to return !

We had a good stay here, apart from food. The spa and wellness program is very good. Staff are very professional and trained. Resort has good view and everything but the food here was little bit disappointing as we are vegetarian and the resorts breakfast spread and restaurants had very limited options. But whatever is available is good and tasteful. I would certainly like to visit here again.

We had a great stay here, very restful and peaceful. Our villa was quiet and perfect with an incredible view. Also incredibly spacious with a huge bathroom. Private beach access was amazing as well. It was the perfect place for our last few days in Thailand!

Nice resort. Ok views. Comfy room. Restaurants are over priced for the quality of the food, you get better meals at restaurants right outside the gate for a fraction of the cost on site, recommend a place called Eat Me (seriously, that’s what it’s called). Nice grounds. Awesome pool. Beach is charming with swings.

Payed for the most expensive room but hardly received any complimentary services. The complimentary services were there but were minimal.
Amatara is shown to be a wellness resort however you have to pay for all extra packages to do with wellness. The buggy service was very slow and I ended up having to walk up hills.
If you come here for the fascilities and resort then book the budget room. It is not worth the price for the more expensive rooms as it ends up being an inconvenience compared to other hotels where you get better perks from booking a more expensive room room.
We stayed for our honeymoon. would recommend maybe 1 night here max but other than that the amneties are not all that to be splashing out on a long stay here.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Amatara. The place was gorgeous and the staff were always kind and attentive.
I loved how secluded it is yet you can walk around and find things to do. It was the perfect balance for our vacation. We just came back and we miss it already!
