Let me start by saying that the ONLY good thing about this hotel is that it is on the beach and the view from some of the rooms is quite stunning. Let's start with the comfort of the room. Our bathroom sink leaked from the bottom all over the floor every time you turned it on. There was constantly yellow looking standing water by the toilet, which attracts mosquitos. There was no toiletries, no tv, no housekeeping, and the wifi was a joke. If you plan to stay out all the time, then this hotel might be okay. Unfortunately, my boyfriend got sick and we had to spend a night actually in the hotel. The lack of housekeeping was also a bummer. Unless you manage to keep sand out of your room, you will be dealing with it for the rest of your stay. It also means that you will have to go down and ask for things like toilet paper and clean towels. This is a problem because the staff barely speak English and are quite rude. The restaurant that they advertise doesn't exist. When I asked about this, the guy laughed at me. Maybe if they used the money from the ridiculous rates they charge to fix the rooms, the place wouldn't be such a dump. They actually have a sign that says you will be charged full price if you get even a little body paint on anything, so maybe that is their repair policy. Honestly, stay somewhere else!

Expedia Group verified review

Having booked and paid for two rooms months before our stay, we arrived at the accommodation on the night of the Full Moon party to be told my room had been cancelled a few days previously. I was informed this had been done via Agoda. Firstly I did not at any point cancel my accommodation and secondly I booked via Expedia and not Agoda. I provided email confirmation of my booking and payment but the manager and his wife who spoke very little/poor English were having none of it. They said the room was cancelled regardless of me showing them written evidence to the contrary, and advised me that they had not had any payment. They went onto say they were fully booked. They would not contact Expedia to try to resolve it as they said they only deal with an independant contact. I was left high and dry with nowhere to stay as literally the whole island was fully booked. I spent all day on the phone to Expedia, hours and hours on hold, trying to understand what was being said, and trying to get the issue across to people who either didnt understand the situation, or who couldnt understand what I was saying. It was horrendous, I was so stressed & it ruined my holiday. The owners were very offhand, unhelpful and quite honestly should not be running an establishment like that. It is an absolute disgrace. I could possibly undestand had I not paid but my money had gone through to Expedia and I was left high & dry with no accommodation. I will never book through Expedia again.
