The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, my check-in experience was disappointing. I had called the hotel the day before to inform them of my 1:00 PM arrival and asked if early check-in was possible—offering to pay extra if needed. They assured me it wouldn’t be a problem, which was especially important as I was traveling with a baby and hoped to settle in before her nap. Additionally, I informed them that we would be arriving by boat at the back entrance and requested assistance with our luggage. They confirmed support would be available, but no one came to help. Despite all these prior arrangements, we were made to wait 2 hour and 40 minutes past the official check-in time of 2:00 PM. Another issue arose with my room booking. I had reserved a different room through Expedia, but upon arrival, I was given something entirely worse, I tried contacting Expedia multiple times, but their customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. While this appears to be an issue on Expedia’s end, it remains unresolved, and the lack of communication with Expedia mainly The Great: Despite these issues, the hotel itself is a good place, especially for families with children. The staff were kind, the food, and the facilities well-maintained. One standout was Christian Ramírez, one of the hotel directors. Originally from Cuenca, Ecuador—a city known for its highly educated and warm-hearted people—Christian embodies all those qualities and more. His professionalism, attention to detail was superb !

Booked a two bedroom suite but its more of a connecting rooms. There is no living area to be considered a suite.

Facilities are good and the breakfast buffet has a big spread. Staff team is always full of smiles and ready to help with any request. Minus - The mattress was way too hard. The hotel added a comforter layer on our last night, providing much needed comfort.

Awesome pool and good activities for kids.

They did not have our room ready although it was the check in time. Shower door did not close properly and the bathroom flooded every time we took a shower.

Lovely hotel, excellent service and breakfast. Pool facilities and rooms very nice. Spa and restaurants severely over priced, especially compared to local equivalents which was a shame. Good location for food and trips. Would recommend.

Fantastisk hotell med super service

Gutes Hotel für Ausflüge, riesiger aber viel zu warmer Pool. Kleiner 9loch Golfplatz mit sehr gutem Leihmaterial. Netter Strand. Die Preise im Hotel waren die höchsten, die wir je in Thailand hatten. Schade! Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Blick zum Golfplatz und Sonnenuntergang. 45 min. Vom Flughafen. 15 min. von Ao Nang.

Nice hotel large grounds . Great pool , sunbeds , breakfast and staff . Some parts are very worn . Outside beach is shabby and not used

Our experience with Sofitel was amazing. Kids love the pool and easily had the best time ever. We wouldn't think twice for booking it again at our next visit to Krabi.

Hotel was outdated, far from everything & extremely overpriced. The layout of the pool was absurd - you have to walk 10min to get around it to the bathrooms & there was never anywhere to sit. The beach is across the street which was annoying, and it wasn’t a nice beach. The food was the only redeeming quality - the Italian restaurant & the maya restaurant were great. The buffet was odd & there were many sick hotel guests eating there, so sickness was bound to occur.

Wonderful stay for families

staff was really friendly, beautiful facility and amazing pool. Unfortunately right next-door people burn trash day and night and the smoke makes this stay very difficult

The resort is nice, but it's quite inconvenient as it’s nearly impossible to get a Grab in the morning, and the hotel doesn't offer a shuttle service during that time.
