Scenic property in the hills of Phuket, nice and quiet and very much out of the way of the busy streets, however it's very far out if you plan to go into the main areas such as patong etc. We booked a swim up room which is cool to have direct access to the pool... But the room itself is very very basic. No luxuries at all, we even found a roach in our room on the first and last night of our stay. Bathroom interior is very dark considering the hotel is very bright and airy. The hotel does offer a shuttle service down to the beach which is very handy. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful and the staff are pretty friendly. Gym is pretty decent too and it's 24 hours. A decent stay overall but room amenities could be dramatically improved.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The pool was a nice amenity to have while there. The hotel had free shuttle to the Kata beach which very nice to have but we had to schedule in advanced. The down side for this that we couldn't stay at Kata beach longer if we wanted.

The hotel area and room were fine with modern touch and all the required amenities. Parking spots were available for car and mc. The breakfast is good and normal for Phuket standard, but the chicken in the rice soup should have been cooked properly (still raw'ish). The service was available and fast, but they should have asked, if we have had a pleasant stay at checkout. The cleaning was really not good. Lime scale not being removed from shower area. Hair felt out when trying to adjust the sheets on the side of the bed. Nasty stains in curtains to the toilet and sofa. We even caught a living cockroch (have a video), but maybe this was a rare coincidence.

Once I checked out the reception charged me over 800 Baht for 3 cane of Pepsi two bottle of water and 2 nuts literally it costs you not even 100 baht in 7-11I don’t mind paying for it but when I checked in she never explain to me that it is not free why would you guys add snacks and stuff when it is not free making money out of people and it is really far away from everything don’t waste your money …

It’s a really good value option for people who appreciate the trappings of a 4 star hotel and can manage without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the beach. They offered free shuttles to and from the beach every 2 hours, and if we wanted to go outside these times the cost of a Grab (Asian version of Uber) or a regular taxi was 200-300 baht. The hotel itself is clean, reasonably modern, the pool and bar area very pleasant. They could do with a few more beach loungers, that would be my only criticism. Reception staff were extremely efficient and helpful especially with organising tours. Breakfast had something for everyone. There were Thai options (I loved having curries for breakfast!) as well as western foods and an egg station. There is a convenience store and laundry directly outside the gate, and I recommend the food at the shack next door- delicious! I would stay here again, no doubt. Thanks Yama!

Fantastic value for the money. Room is spacious and clean, bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is amazing, with a rain shower head and toilet in a separate room. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nice and the bar area is great, with decent cocktail prices. The food is also really good. They have a great scooter hire available through a nearby vendor with quality bikes at a good price. Area is nice, but you do need a scooter if you don't want to be spending money on Grabs. The shuttle bus to the beach is good, but relatively infrequent. Overall, fantastic value for money

Great hotel located away from hustle of the Kata Beach area. Poolside room was very nice having direct access to the hotel pool. Restaurant and bar was well priced and good quality and all hotel staff were very polite and friendly. Transfer to and from the airport was booked through the hotel and was seamless. they also provide transport to and from Kata Beach. Included buffet breakfast was also very good.Highly recommend the Yama!

This is a very nice hotel with a beautiful pool and lovely rooms. The beds are incredible with sheets so soft you melt into them. Breakfast was great!! Lots of different options both Western to Eastern. Great location in the mountains and a shuttle to the beach that runs often. No sun in the pool area before noon (January) I was going to give five stars but they were three hours late to have a room ready and would not let us do a late check out as somebody was coming for the room. We were only asking for an extra hour. I guess the next guests were more important than us.

**Second Time’s the Charm at The Yama Hotel!** As a single dad traveling with my two young teen sons, finding a comfortable and family-friendly hotel is always a priority, and The Yama Hotel has delivered on both our visits! From the warm welcome at check-in to the excellent service at the restaurant and pool bar, every aspect of our stay was a pleasure. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a cozy bathtub and a large rain shower in the bathroom. It came with all the standard amenities, like coffee and tea, two complimentary water bottles daily, and quality toiletries. While the hotel isn’t directly on the beach, the views more than made up for it—we had a stunning combination of ocean and jungle scenery. The AC kept us cool, the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and though we didn’t watch much TV, the cable channels were a nice touch. The included breakfast buffet was perfect for us. My sons and I aren’t picky eaters, and we loved the variety, from classic breakfast staples to local dishes, fresh fruits, a salad bar, refreshing juices, and a variety of coffee drinks to start the day right. The friendly and attentive restaurant staff made every meal even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel provided a shuttle bus to Kata Beach, which was incredibly convenient and made it easy for us to enjoy the sand and sea. I would recommend The Yama Hotel to anyone, whether traveling with kids, as a couple, or even solo. We’re already looking forward to our next stay

Scenic property in the hills of Phuket, nice and quiet and very much out of the way of the busy streets, however it's very far out if you plan to go into the main areas such as patong etc. We booked a swim up room which is cool to have direct access to the pool... But the room itself is very very basic. No luxuries at all, we even found a roach in our room on the first and last night of our stay. Bathroom interior is very dark considering the hotel is very bright and airy. The hotel does offer a shuttle service down to the beach which is very handy. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful and the staff are pretty friendly. Gym is pretty decent too and it's 24 hours. A decent stay overall but room amenities could be dramatically improved.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The pool was a nice amenity to have while there. The hotel had free shuttle to the Kata beach which very nice to have but we had to schedule in advanced. The down side for this that we couldn't stay at Kata beach longer if we wanted.

The hotel area and room were fine with modern touch and all the required amenities. Parking spots were available for car and mc. The breakfast is good and normal for Phuket standard, but the chicken in the rice soup should have been cooked properly (still raw'ish). The service was available and fast, but they should have asked, if we have had a pleasant stay at checkout. The cleaning was really not good. Lime scale not being removed from shower area. Hair felt out when trying to adjust the sheets on the side of the bed. Nasty stains in curtains to the toilet and sofa. We even caught a living cockroch (have a video), but maybe this was a rare coincidence.

Once I checked out the reception charged me over 800 Baht for 3 cane of Pepsi two bottle of water and 2 nuts literally it costs you not even 100 baht in 7-11I don’t mind paying for it but when I checked in she never explain to me that it is not free why would you guys add snacks and stuff when it is not free making money out of people and it is really far away from everything don’t waste your money …

It’s a really good value option for people who appreciate the trappings of a 4 star hotel and can manage without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the beach. They offered free shuttles to and from the beach every 2 hours, and if we wanted to go outside these times the cost of a Grab (Asian version of Uber) or a regular taxi was 200-300 baht. The hotel itself is clean, reasonably modern, the pool and bar area very pleasant. They could do with a few more beach loungers, that would be my only criticism. Reception staff were extremely efficient and helpful especially with organising tours. Breakfast had something for everyone. There were Thai options (I loved having curries for breakfast!) as well as western foods and an egg station. There is a convenience store and laundry directly outside the gate, and I recommend the food at the shack next door- delicious! I would stay here again, no doubt. Thanks Yama!

Arrived to the dusty and dirty room that stinked like they dropped detergent on the floor. Asked them to clean again, they did . But it was still very dirty. Breakfast was not that good. Dirty floors all over the hotel.

Fantastic value for the money. Room is spacious and clean, bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is amazing, with a rain shower head and toilet in a separate room. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nice and the bar area is great, with decent cocktail prices. The food is also really good. They have a great scooter hire available through a nearby vendor with quality bikes at a good price. Area is nice, but you do need a scooter if you don't want to be spending money on Grabs. The shuttle bus to the beach is good, but relatively infrequent. Overall, fantastic value for money

Great hotel located away from hustle of the Kata Beach area. Poolside room was very nice having direct access to the hotel pool. Restaurant and bar was well priced and good quality and all hotel staff were very polite and friendly. Transfer to and from the airport was booked through the hotel and was seamless. they also provide transport to and from Kata Beach. Included buffet breakfast was also very good.Highly recommend the Yama!

This is a very nice hotel with a beautiful pool and lovely rooms. The beds are incredible with sheets so soft you melt into them. Breakfast was great!! Lots of different options both Western to Eastern. Great location in the mountains and a shuttle to the beach that runs often. No sun in the pool area before noon (January) I was going to give five stars but they were three hours late to have a room ready and would not let us do a late check out as somebody was coming for the room. We were only asking for an extra hour. I guess the next guests were more important than us.

**Second Time’s the Charm at The Yama Hotel!** As a single dad traveling with my two young teen sons, finding a comfortable and family-friendly hotel is always a priority, and The Yama Hotel has delivered on both our visits! From the warm welcome at check-in to the excellent service at the restaurant and pool bar, every aspect of our stay was a pleasure. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a cozy bathtub and a large rain shower in the bathroom. It came with all the standard amenities, like coffee and tea, two complimentary water bottles daily, and quality toiletries. While the hotel isn’t directly on the beach, the views more than made up for it—we had a stunning combination of ocean and jungle scenery. The AC kept us cool, the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and though we didn’t watch much TV, the cable channels were a nice touch. The included breakfast buffet was perfect for us. My sons and I aren’t picky eaters, and we loved the variety, from classic breakfast staples to local dishes, fresh fruits, a salad bar, refreshing juices, and a variety of coffee drinks to start the day right. The friendly and attentive restaurant staff made every meal even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel provided a shuttle bus to Kata Beach, which was incredibly convenient and made it easy for us to enjoy the sand and sea. I would recommend The Yama Hotel to anyone, whether traveling with kids, as a couple, or even solo. We’re already looking forward to our next stay

A bit far from the beach but that’s why it’s cheaper. Free shuttle to kata beach. Breakfast could be better, felt like lunch buffet. Multiple towels has hole in them! Overall good value for the money.

Pretty nice hotel. The view was not as close of the beach as I thought. They kept my room clean and the breakfast was good. I enjoyed our stay.
