Petra Moon Luxury Hotel

Excellent springboard for exploring Petra. Less than 5 minutes walk to the visitor center. My room was well appointed and spotless — and I appreciated the welcome baklava. Great shower, comfortable bed. Good breakfast buffet. The staff is wonderful - very friendly and hospitable. Cannot recommend this hotel enough! (One great thing about the hotel being so close is the ability if you need a break during the brutal midday heat, it’s so easy to go grab a shower and refresh.)

Siamo stati accolti in maniera eccellente. L'hotel è letteralmente a 3 minuti a piedi dall'ingresso del sito di Petra. Personale gentilissimo e super professionale. Colazione ottima, abbondante e con espresso Illy! Carino il rooftop con piscina e palestra. Iacuzzi da rivedere e non servono nessuno alcolico.

Wakable distance to the main entrance of Petra. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Pool was fresh and nice after a long day of walking. Staff were really nice, gave us the right info to avoid been scam by the numerous people that will try to scam you. Follow the staff tips, you'll be fine.

Hôtel fantastique très bien placé puisque en face de Pétra Chambre et salle de bains luxueuse mais pas ostentatoire le personnel est aux petits soins vraiment à l’écoute des clients Je recommande à 130%!! Le frigo etait rempli de cannettes gratuites et avec des pâtisseries comme jolie attention !!

Very clean room, staff are very helpful in particular Mohamed at the front desk with tips on how to get around Petra and see as much as possible.

Staff was very friendly. Food was excellent overall it was a great day. Amazing view of mountains. Very conveniently located next to the Petra entrance.

Much much better than expected from a decor, staff, service and value perspective! It would be quite easy for Petra Moon Luxury Hotel to rest on its incredibly good location but it doesn’t. It makes you feel welcomed and appreciated from the moment the valet arrives to help you with your bags. Every single staff member I interacted with was helpful, polite and knowledgeable. Great facilities and much better room design than I expected. They could have skimped on materials or floor plan or room features but they simply did not and did everything right. I was debating between this and the Movenpick next door but I believe this was a better choice and a much better value. Highly highly recommended! Our best hotel experience in Jordan so far

Comfortable stay, closest to petra entrance, reasonable price

This was an amazing hotel with great facilities and very close to the Petra visitor centre

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. It is located within minutes of the Petra visitor center although the walk is back to the hotel is a steep up hill. We had a room with a Mountain View which was amazing. We took advantage of the spa and did the Andalusian bath which was perfect after a long hiking day through Petra. The staff is amazing everyone is so friendly and hospitable. I highly recommend this hotel for your Petra visit

The property was within walking distance of Petra which is why we booked it They valet parked the car and I was sure they drove our car during the day we were in Petra as I noticed it had moved and the fuel seemed lower than I left it When we arrived the Receptionist suggested that we did not enter Petra from the visitor centre but if we took a taxi to little Petra and then a jeep to the far entrance we would only have to walk one way and down the 900 steps He arranged a taxi which would cost 20 JD without mentioning the free shuttle bus from across the road from the hotel Fortunately I found out and cancelled his 20JD con Hotel advertised a swimming pool and outside relaxing areas When we got there the whole area was closed for renovations On leaving I mentioned this to the manager who said well you could have gone to the sister hotel next door but we were not told this on arrival Air conditioning was set for heating across the whole hotel not cooling and the temperature was 28 degrees Chose this hotel because it was a 5 star with a swimming pool within walking distance of Petra

Honestly, the best hotel I think I have ever stayed in. Amazing service. The hotel it self was looking incredible. Nice room, good breakfast. Only downside was that the pool was out of order, due to upgrades, but we managed. Also close to the visitor center and restaurants and small markeds.
