Astoria Rivershore Motel

The staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately they are understaffed, but they did the best they could to assist guests. The remodel on the motel was nicely done and the room was very clean. The appliances are good quality. The decor was decent. The light grey walls and curtains were drab, so more color would help. The kitchen needed more flatware, dishes, mugs and glasses. There was no drain plug for the bathtub and the shower curtain rod was loose. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The bedroom was reasonably quiet despite being on a main road.

The staff were kind and helpful. The kitchen was an excellent resource for us. The location of this motel is also convenient to downtown Astoria.

Staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were okay. The floors were not very clean and dirty towels were left behind from the previous people staying in the room. The room was also very damp and there was a bit of a musty smell to the room. I think they know there’s a smell to the room because when we checked in, the window was cracked open. The price was very reasonable, so I wasn’t expecting a lot from the motel room.

Near a busy street so noisy - comfortable beds/pillows

At first glance it had no curb appeal. Old, plain, 60s look. But when I stepped into the room and saw that everything had been updated! Freshly painted, plenty of outlets USB Ports, I was really impressed. It was very clean and comfortable. Although the lobby was a one window room. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room itself is nice nice, but it is on a very busy street. There is no staffing after a certain hour so if there is difficulty, really no one to help you out. There was a family with children overhead that made a huge amount of noise, and no way to get help with that.

Good location to our meeting location for fishing in the mornings but we did not hurry back to relax in our room, in fact we came up with any excuse not to return to our room until we just needed to go to sleep. The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful enough, but there were a lot of little things that added up to make our stay not so great. Right off the bat, when we got in the room, after 5 hours of driving, found that we didn’t have any soap in the room. I’m not sure what other amenities we were missing but I had to run back down and ask for soap so we could wash our hands. The freezer was left open as well so took awhile to re-freeze and be usable. The tub floor felt like you were standing on a waterbed, it sloshed like under the tub was full of water and there was a large chunk of … something… left in the tub from a previous occupant. The fan in the bathroom screeched so bad we couldn’t bare to use it, so all our showers and using the bathroom was done in the dark. There were ants all over the room. The couch was oddly tall and firm and was very uncomfortable to sit on. The TV in the bedroom wasn’t connected to any cable for signal but we could get the living room tv to work. On our second day housekeeping came in our room, even though we didnt ask them too, and took the trash out of the can, put a new bag in it and left the old bag full of garbage in the middle of our floor… we were definitely let down in this stay and not at all worth what we paid.

The separate bedroom aspect was amazing for traveling with a friend and the quality of the bed, pillows, shower, and kitchen were all standouts.

Good central location Yea!, lots of traffic, Boo! Room was spacious, well maintained. lighting was limited. Full kitchen a plus. A bargain but with a price.

The phones to call front desk don’t work, ants all over the place no matter how clean you keep your room, front desk lady is not friendly whatsoever. You can tell they really care about this place (cue the sarcasm).

Little road noise but clean and spacious room.

We were in Astoria to check out the Goonies sites and surrunding stops. The hotel is a little dated. I couldnt find the hair dryer if there was one. Not the worst place we've stayed.

Basic room nothing fancy..a place to sleep..friendly and helpfull staff. The price was high for what was provided but well below the area average.

You never know what you’re going to get with a roadside motel, but these rooms looked like they were recently remodeled and were very clean. Had all the amenities. it was in a great location. We were very pleased with our stay.

Great, only thing is toilet is slow to flush.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 queen beds room. Was spacious, clean and comfortable. Both rooms had their own tv, though there is not a door between the rooms, but we didn't care. It was nice to have the space.Clean, the bed wasn't super comfortable, but it was fine. I'd stay here again. The area around the motel though was fine but we made sure to have nothing left in the car, just to be safe.

Has boat parking, has nice rooms, a little over priced.

It might look dated from the outside, but the rooms were very clean and nicely updated with modern fixtures and comfortable beds.

The hotel was convenient but nothing special.
