Gary was a wonderful host and the hotel was clean in the lobby. The room was in of repair. At 2:00 a.m. I got up to go to the bathroom and turned on the light to see several cockroaches climbing on the tub and floor. Needless to say, I screamed and it woke up my daughter. We ended up staying up the rest of the night. Not good.

The breakfast was very good, clean and the nicest man. He would bring around fresh fruit to the tables. Good variety, eggs, sausage, waffles etc.
Rooms are being renovated but staff were very nice and helpful.

We were just here overnight to catch an early morning flight out of Sanford. It was very convenient for this purpose. The front desk staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. They were all wonderful. The room was nice and clean. It had obviously been renovated recently. The remainder of the hotel made me question our decision to stay there. Carpets were disgusting. The elevator made odd noises that were concerning. The tub/shower needs some repairs, and the toilet ran off and on all night.

Air conditioning was a little rough. It was either freezing in room or hot and very loud! My next comment is regarding the allowance of dogs at hotel. I had to listen to the room right next to mine,who had obviously left their dog in room by itself for 8 consecutive hours,bark pretty much the whole time. I was finally allowed to get a new room by 10pm and having to leave for airport by 4. There should be some rule where you can’t leave pet for more than a couple hours at a time.

I think the motel was remodeling. At least, I hope they were. The room was sorta clean, considering what the maids had to work with. There were no bedside lamps. Heck, there was one lamp in the whole room and it was on the desk. The fixtures in the bathroom were broken. The slide curtain was filthy, as was the window. The air-condition sounded like an airplane taking off every time it came on. All. Night. Long.

Booked a nonsmoking room and were put in a smoking room. Called the front desk for a nonsmoking room were told there were none available. This was an unacceptable experience but there was no other option.

The location is close to the airport, we flew out early in the morning. The outside and the lobby were nice. We were on the 4th floor when we got off the elevator it was old and dirty. I can deal with old, but this can use a deep cleaning.
