Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Evansville

When we arrived, we did not have a room. I had reserved 2 and had confirmation numbers. They sent us away claiming they don't take reservations for this site anymore.

Crap show!! Had all my reservation paper work and would not honor my reservation! Said I didn’t have a room. Very rude!! Had to find a new hotel. Got charged by OYO for my 2 rooms. None of my questions were answered!! I will be writing a very bad review on line!!

Place would have been nice if our reservation was accepted Beware - do not book at this hotel Our reservation was not accepted They use to be Evansville Inn by OYO They are now a borders , yet not listed on borders website AND they have no local phone number !!! We are still trying to get refund from our reservation and I called help desk at OYO and they said they don’t have our reservation number . We were able to book a room , the last room available when we got there . But still trying to get refund from online reservation and they don’t accept any online reservations . Don’t Book ! !!!!

Very convenient location especially for anyone looking to hike the Ice Age Trail.

Not all the lights worked in the room. For being a place kind of out of town it was kind of noisy at night. The was no breakfast offered light the ad said.

The clerk at the front desk couldn't understand English well enough to confirm my reservation and had to call for help. The coffee maker in our room didn't have a basket to hold the coffee pod, Also, it had left- over coffee grounds in the water reservoir, which I rinsed out. There was no coffee made for us in the lobby either morning and no water in the Keurig. I had to take the water bin to my room to get water for the Keurig in the Lobby. There were multiple dried (urine?) stains running down the back side of the bathroom door, which we didn't notice until our last morning. The bedding was clean, very peaceful, as we were the only 2 customers in the entire building for 2 days.

my son's wedding was at the red barn so it was so convenient to walk back and forth

Everything was great.

If you are looking for safe, clean, place to spend the night while traveling at a reasonable price this is the place. Definitely no frills and very basic amenities, but room had clean bedding, hot shower, and staff were friendly.

It was very quiet and clean and the staff have always been great.

There was an odor when you walked in, but not a foul odor. Nobody was at the desk an we had to push a doorbell for the lady to come to the front counter. The room was clean but you could tell it was a very old hotel and needed to be remodeled. Breakfast was included with the price. I went downstairs the next morning and the room was dark. I rang the bell and a lady came out and i asked for coffee and when Breakfast started. She told me that the refrigerator was broke. I asked for coffee and she helped me make some. I asked if i coul be discounted for not having breakfast and she offed me milk for the cereal that was on the counter. Funny that she had milk with the refrigerator broken. Anyway, i asked again for a credit for no breakfast and she said she could give something for our next stay. I wasn't from town and will never go back there.

Basic No elevator to help carry bags up. No ice machine. Morning breakfast was choice between 2 cereals or yogurt

Didnt like t Jr e price and the 3 o clock check in. SHOULD BE A LE TO CHECK IN AT NOON AT LEAST.

Staff is in her pajamas attire. Looks like she lives in the hotel. Breakfast is terrible for a grab and eat kind. No hot coffee, no napkins. Realized there’s no face towels in the room.

Easy access to the road and gas station

Fairly modern, clean facility but certainly unconventional level of services. Front desk is not always staffed - ring doorbell on desk and maybe someone will show up. No snacks, breakfast, coffee or water available. Room rate is less and most competitors and it shows. Ave size comfortable room and beds. Unsure we would return here.

Needs a major overhaul. Stunk like marijuana and Indian food, spiders on the bed, old food in fridge, VERY dirty bathroom. I have always stayed here for work, but not anymore! Beware.

Not much to like about this place. High price for below average accommodations. Microwave in breakfast area didn't work. Remote for room TV didn't work. Breakfast was cheap and horrible. No place to buy a bottle of soda or water or snacks.

I called to check on my reservation and they said I did not have any reservation do I never stayed. This is unbelievable
