Brookside is a very unique and special place to stay. I love the fireplaces. I love the stream, and I like to open the door when I have a good fire going, so I can hear the water and the fire at the same time.

This place was so cute and cozy! It was my first time staying there and will definitely stay there again. The view of the river was perfect.

We've stayed at this hotel.many,any times and always enjoyed our stay. But the last 2nd visits we were put in the older section. Behind the office on the right.
Both stays were disappointing. We are well aware of the bear issues and the precautions to keep them from trying to get into cars etc. So we were surprised to find the bathroom window would not close all the way and we were unable to lock it. And the dead bolt was broken on the front door. Didn't discover either issue until after the office closed at 11pm. The breakfast was meager and unappetizing. Good coffee though. We are frequent visitors to Gatlinburg after 2 disappointing stays, may stay elsewhere. We enjoy the creekside rooms and fireplace, but disappointed how the facility has declined.

Will definitely be staying here again. The room was nice and clean, off the back balcony was a cute babbling brook, and there were breakfast lunch and dinner options all right across the street.

Back door leading out of unit unsafe. No trash can in bathroom, no hangers, coffee pot not working, railing falling apart leading to second floor and exterior in poor condition. Carpeting in room disgustingly. Old and unkept property.

Check in and out was a breeze and staff was very friendly. This is not a newer facility, but the room was clean and was kept that way by the staff. We chose creekside and the views and sounds were very relaxing. The free breakfast was a little carb heavy but there is a great restaurant for breakfast right across the street with excellent prices . Overall I would stay again.

I have stayed here 4 times. It's not the newest but they have added cute cabin decor to partially renovated rooms. I love the sight and sounds from the creek running behind. Couple blocks to the strip. Close by yummy pizza place. Breakfast is just ok I personally don't expect much on value stays. I travel with food to supplement as needed. Safe parking ( Always lock your auto doors in Gatlinburg the bears are pretty smart:)
