Excellent location to enjoy Poipu area, easily walkable to beach ( uphill return). We needed to keep front door open to get cool breeze into apartment. Would have appreciated aircon, however did know in advance that there wasn’t any. Property is well maintained including the pool and spa. Enjoy watching turtles in the surf! Would stay again.

We stayed here for a week in an upper unit with an ocean view.(2204) It was so lovely to wake up and sit on the porch with such a nice view. Everything was easy from check in to check out. The pool was nice for an afternoon swim. It was very windy while we were there so that accounted for the comfortability in the space without air conditioning. Plus the fans in each room. The kitchen had a coffee maker, blender and lots of containers for our leftover foods when cooking at home. All in all I would stay here again.

The property itself was amazing and there are many updated units on the property which was built in the 70’s. Our unit which was larger so we could sleep 5 was very spacious and appears to be in a slow remodeling phase as we found a lot of lumber and pipes hidden in many dusty corners. Not the cleanest room upon arrival but definitely not worth me contacting anyone, which I never did. Everything was contactless and hassle free which we loved. The stairs were the real only complaint because they were not properly replaced and every step was extremely loud causing a lot of wake ups with two teenage boys in the house. The property was very nice and surrounded by the pacific with many enjoyable places to take in her power and beauty. Definitely could have been cleaner and possibly a little less being worked on but definitely fit our budget with the larger family.

We enjoyed the condo it is spacious, but it was really hot. If there was a security screen front door to open the air could come through with the sliders open. The kitchen window and the first bedrooms windows did not open. There are no fans in the bathrooms. The sliders were difficult to lock but there are dowels to place in the door tracks for security.

This condo is a pleasant short walk to beach access.
Good snorkeling nearby. Turtles and monk seals on the beach every day. Many come in for overnight resting.
The condo we stayed in is managed by another resort down the road. They were very responsive to our needs.
Ie: providing 2 more folding chairs for the patio, a pair of scissors, and rods to place in sliding doors and windows to secure at night. (As we were on the ground floor) But, most windows were difficult to open.
Unfortunately, kitchen lacked adequate cookware, unless you like Teflon. Glassware mostly old and funky. The kitchen cupboard doors stick badly and are soiled at areas used to open them. Bathroom exhaust fan was not working. Light in laundry not working. The TV was small and poor sound due to location, no streaming service available.
These issues cannot be addressed to the managers of the condo, as they fall onto “the owners” responsibility to correct. How to contact.’the owner’ is not clear….?
The ceiling fans were spot on tho for keeping us comfortable 👍 and the pool and hot tub wonderful 😊

After reading some previous renters stories, our family was concerned for maintenance and noise issues. As well as condo cleanliness, and other issues. We contacted staff who were great with communication regarding our concerns. They answered all our questions. We arrived and everything that was stated on our booking page more than met our expectations. Our ocean view condo was amazing and we made a trip of a lifetime! We will definitely rebook in the future, mahalo!

The condo was close to the beach. You have to walk about 15 mins. The bed was a little hard, no AC and they didn’t have any spices in the kitchen which I felt was standard amenity. The cost for groceries is already high so any little thing left for use would have been great. With no AC, the master bedroom was left pretty hot at all times.

Construction starts at 6am weekdays and weekends. Dirt and dust everywhere and washer/dryer broken can’t even go on the balcony to enjoy the construction aka ocean views. Not sure why it wasn’t included information when we booked. It was a huge disappointment.

We booked last minute for an extended stay in Kauai. The condo was very comfortable with plenty room for everyone. the only drawback was the Lani was under repair and we were not allowed to use. I would also add a floor fan for the master bedroom. the management company was amazing with help checking in and out will definitely stay again.

Terrible!! My husband is a disabled vet. NO where did it say it was not ADA approved ! Smelled bad, no beach chairs, not even salt and pepper in the house. Forget cooking unless you want to buy everything down to spices. What use is the kitchen. No window covering on a few windows and they were at park I g lot level where anyone could see inside. The showers were horrible, dirty. The cabinets where literally falling apart. The liane was not usable. And they didn’t say a thing until the final payment was due. What use is an “ocean view” if you can’t sit out on the liane and enjoy it. Just looking out a window. DO NOT waste your money. The unit next door was under construction. The entire day was saws and hammers all day long. It was insulting to even think they wanted an outrageous amount of money for this unit. Disgusting

Rusty areas found especially around windows making them stiff to open and close. Window ledge in kitchen and floors throughout were dirty. There are no frills or extras with the rental, kitchen barely had enough cookware, no salt or pepper, no laundry soap provided. We had to close all sliders every time we left because we were located on the ground floor. It was hot, no a/c. Ocean view was partial view with the surrounding buildings blocking the main view. Nice open area inside with ceilings fans.

Easy check in and check out. Lovely location with sunrise and sunset seen from outdoor patios, as well as whale activity! Quiet, with nice pool and hot tub. Interior was fine except beds were hard and not very comfortable. Minor issues were the fan wasn't working in one of the bathrooms, and door latch was secure but needed repair; it was difficult to use.

The unit we were -twenty two zero four-in was very shabby and in need of upgrades. There is peeling paint on the window sill, the bathroom mirrors are rusting, the window slats in the master are rusted open, the laminate on many surfaces is peeling off. Little things like wrong info for wi fi were also bothersome. On the good side, the bed was comfortable and there was a nice, if obstructed, view.

A couple of things to keep in mind with this property
1. Check in is not easy. Castle resorts (who manages the property) had to call me and confirm my stay a week before we went, then called me again after we came to confirm check in and charge me additional fees. NOTE- they will charge you a destination fee and a cleaning fee (cost is about $220) in addition to the booking fee. They collected this after we checked in.
2. This hotel has no AC. We needed to buy a fan and open windows to cool the place down in February.
3. It had a lot of cosmetic issues. Our bathtub floor was black and was clogged. Every shower had me standing in several inches of water.
4. The bed was rock hard. Not comfortable at all.
5. They only had about a 24 inch tv (probably. $50 TV) It was unusable. Our iPad was actually easier to see and had better sound.
6. Overall just felt dirty inside (peeling paint, dirty window screens). Will not stay here again.
