Castle Mountain Lodge

This stay was unforgettable due to location and frequent animal sightings. The area along river was an attraction in itself. The only negative was no having climate controlled room (AC). It would have been less noticeable if the cabins were designed to let heat out of room with windows properly placed at top to let airflow cool room. All and all we loved the placed and would return again.

What a great place! We loved the Fall River right by the cabin.

Took a family vacation and stayed here. Very close to Mountain State Park and the shops in Estes Park. Great location, quiet, staff were very friendly.

This place was amazing! The pictures are exactly what it looks like! The cabin was very clean, the staff was very friendly and nice! We will be coming back!

Absolutely beautiful location, the cabins are clean, the perfect size and the property is amazing. The views are breathtaking and everything was just 10 out of 10 so recommended!

Castle Mountain Lodge is a beautiful place to stay when visiting Estes Park/RMNP. It is situated right off a two lane highway but is very peaceful. The accommodations are well appointed and the staff is very friendly. They also offer free cookies in the lobby which was a nice treat. We stayed in a studio lodge and it was very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay here again the next time we are in Estes Park.

We stayed in the Great Room and the unit itself was great. We would not return, however. There is no phone service and terrible WiFi so we had to drive to town to make calls and watching a movie was spotty. The place is loud. While sitting in the hot tub, we could hear the neighbors tv blaring and we were woken up early every morning by different things. It is a good family place, but don’t recommend for a couple looking for quiet.

Loved our cabin, comfortable bed, nice shower, full kitchen, cozy. Perfect location between the town & the Park. The property is beautiful and the cleanliness gets a 5 star. Will stay there again!!

What a happy accident:) just looking for a place to sleep and we landed in the cutest little cabin with a perfect fire and the Fall River lulling us to sleep. All the staff we encountered were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. Looking forward to another, longer stay!

I've been coming to Estes Park for 21 years and never had the pleasure of staying at Castle Mountain Lodge, now I can't wait to return after a lovely stay. I was in Castle 1, a motel room on the end of the row. It was perfect, peaceful and so comfortable. The beds were really comfy, lots of pillows and nice quilts. There was a table and chairs, big dresser, microwave and fridge. Unfortunately teb TV was not great, it was stuck on FX and no matter what I did, I was unable to change the channel. No big deal, I wasn't there to watch TV. The bathroom was spacious, lots of towels and great water pressure, always hot water. I loved the chairs on the porch and enjoyed sitting outside. The property is beautiful and it was wonderful to be able to sit by the river and enjoy an evening fire, a walk around and just listening to the river. The office area and library are very comfortable and lots of books and games to enjoy as well as coffee and other hot drinks. There's also a hot tub that can be reserved as well as a coin operated laundry on the property. I am an older solo female traveler and I felt completely safe at all times on the property. The close proximity to all that Estes Park/RMNP has to offer is a bonus, super easy drive to all the attractions, shops and restaurants.

Very cute, clean cabins. Close to RMNP and shopping. I would definitely stay again.

Amazing place, small vintage cozy town, hostes was very friendly and room was very well decorated. My toddler enjoyed a lot playing in the playground

Every employee we interacted with was very pleasant and friendly, especially the staff in the lobby. It felt like chatting with small town neighbors. We LOVED our cabin! The property is walking distance to town (one mile on a flat path). We WILL stay there again next time we head to Estes Park.

We love this property! Have stayed here twice and would come back again. The hosts are wonderful and provide fresh made cookies daily.
