Extended Stay America Suites Memphis Wolfchase Galleria

Waited 20 minutes at check in for anyone to show up. Person was not welcoming at all. No smile. No personality. Only spoke when he had to. All glass surfaces (windows and doors) were very dirty. Mattresses were great! Breakfast was gone by 830 even though they were supposed to supply it until 9:00. Very disappointing.

The hotel is very outdated and in need of serious upgrades. The staff are doing a great job with what they have, but you can only paint over holes so many times. Pool was closed prior to our check in. I would of never booked this hotel if I knew the pool was closed. Very disappointed kids when they saw the lime green jello water in the pool.

This place was sufficient for my stay. I do want to make a couple of points. If you have mobility issues and you have a pet you are going to be placed far from the front desk. A simple walk down a hall is very difficult and painful for me. However, difficult or not, you must take your used towels to the front desk in order to get new ones. Similarly when you have trash you must take it to the dumpster. When I booked my stay the price said it was all inclusive and yes, I had included my pet. When I arrived to check in I was told this was not the case and I paid a hefty fee. In other words I could have stayed somewhere closer to my reason for the visit, in the end the price would have been comparable. The space was perfect for my needs and it's really too bad the rest of it could not have been more accommodating.

Indie not like staying in a small room with a person in a wheelchair

Room was very small, run down. It's a maze to get to the hotel and it's very junky outside the building and surrounding area. The halls smelled of weed. We not be returning!

Not clean; smelt like skunk Stained carpet, walls and tub.

This is less than a 2 star hotel. They were supposed to supply cooking and eating utensils. They had no bowl or large plates and only one drinking glass. (There were two of us) Drawers in vanity and kitchen cabinets would not open all off the tracks. Room 143

It was dirty it was just nasty the TV was crooked on the wall the chair had a hole and a rip in the middle of it there was Roaches on the floor it stunk very bad

Room terrible dirty , found condom in toilet dirt on the wood floor wet stains on table top I’m not sure this room was cleaned before my arrival . And felt extremely unsafe

It was horrible the first pull out bed was bad. The night clerk was rude. They are not kid friendly. Babies will cry when they cant talk.

My room was molded from the air conditioning leaking

The property is old and there is visible wear and tear on many of the windows, walls, and doors. This property needs to be rehabilitated.

The irony is rich. The room was very nice. It was clearly designed for extended stay. The facilities (what I saw) were well kept. The first problem was that it took the desk clerk awhile to show up to check me in. There was a sign saying he/she was assisting another customer. But he had food on his mouth when he finally appeared out of the back room. The fire alarm went off late in the evening. A resident said he smelled something on the second floor, like food burning on a stove (that hasn't been confirmed). Finally, and the worst thing, someone (or more than one person) started going out and into his/her room at 2 a.m., and didn't ease the door shut. The door slammed shut at least eight times between 2 and 3 a.m.; the sound seemed amplified down the hallway. No one in management came to check on things and see if the person could be quieter. I finally had to take a melatonin to get back to sleep. The place seemed more like an apartment building than a hotel. Nice facilities, but poorly managed. Maybe they're used to people making noise all night. I won't stay in an Extended Stay hotel again.

Perfect for families

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again and recommend family and friends to keep extended stay in mind when needing to check in somewhere.
