I Booked Room with 2 Beds Balcony/Patio facing the Harbor. I LOVE COMING HERE! & LOVE INTRODUCING "THE GETAWAY" MAKING THE TIME! WITH ALL THE CONVENIENCES AND AMME

The Hotels I'm at. There are sealions on the docks you can watch

1) Only 1/2 the light fixtures worked - 2) had to buy new batteries for tv remote- 3) shower over flowed and would not drain- we stayed at this hotel about 2 years ago and they said they were "Replumbing" the property as it had the same problem then ...LOL 2 years later the second floor is still have the backed up shower so you stand in the sewer water from the last person! 4) The "breakfast buffet" eggs sausage were cold - not even warm to the touch. 5) they claim to have a pool & Jacuzzi but you have to drive a different hotel down the street - 1/4 mile away!!! 6) they don't change sheets or bring fresh DRY towels each day- that's ok - BUT when we asked the maid for dry towels you would have thought we were asking for her pay-check! All in All the worst Hotel experience I have had in many years!

Wow this hotel is just Perfect! Love how clean, spacious, service and the food! Amazing job to all the staffs who made our stay so comfortable.

Die Lage mit dem Blick auf den Hafen ist traumhaft Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels, in denen wir auf unserer vierwöchigen Reise übernachtet haben, hat das Frühstück, das hier extra angepriesen war, eher enttäuscht. Als wir dort waren, war das Hotel ausgebucht, was vielleicht auch mit Grund war, dass vieles immer gerade leer war, wobei man das ja eigentlich überblicken kann , wenn man als Haus seine Buchungen sieht. Pancakes und Speck wurden auch nicht nachgelegt, es gab einen Toaster für alle, zu dem die Mitarbeirerin direkt sagte, dass er alt und langsam sei. Es bildeten sich also lange Schlangen vor diesem einen Toaster. Kakaopulver gab es nur auf Nachfrage. Es war ok, wir sind satt geworden, haben es aber in anderen Häusern zu einem deutlich günstigeren Übernachtungspreis besser, gewissenhafter und serviceoriwntierter erlebt. Das mit dem Papp- und Plastikgeschirr ist in den USA halt offensichtlich so, das haben wir bis auf einmal immer so erlebt.

This is the second time we stayed here and there is nothing wrong with the property but I didn't enjoy the room, it was humid, I could not sleep. I will likely stay again when in town, but will ask for room with balcony,

We really enjoyed our stay! love the fact that it was a full breakfast! Great selections of eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, bagels and more! We'll be back! We also love that we could just walk right over to the harbor to see the beautiful boats. Everyone in the area was so nice and what can I say about the staff? Everybody was amazing so helpful. We also love the gift bag that we received when we checked in. Nice touch! Thank you so much for your warm hospitality. You really made us feel comfortable.

I liked how close to the pier you are. Only thing i didnt like was there was no body soap in the shower. But other then they the stay was very pleasant.

The hotel overall was nice. The bed was a little hard and the coffee maker was broken which is why I am giving 4 stars but overall for a short getaway it was really convenient especially since we spent most of our time at Ventura Harbor Village.

I stay here every summer and this year I see a noticeable difference from last. The daily breakfast which is a big part of why we stay had numerous elements that were either not working (pancake machine) or not offered. Also I had booked a room with a view that I thought had a patio since all the rooms I had seen on either the view or no view side did have one. Room did not have a patio and I was told that was because I booked a room bay windows instead. Ok, that is my mistake but the problem was the room they gave me did not have bay windows. So no patio and no big windows for the water view. I switched to a room with no view to be able to have a patio. Rooms are large and comfy, but the carpet was stained in several places. For $300 a night I expect more.

The rooms are clean and updated. The gym is a bit weak. The lobby area is very good. The bed was very good, lighting in the room could better

Nice property at Ventura Harbor - clean room excellent customer service

Property is clean and the staff was helpful. However, corporate canceled one of our booked nights and i had to call the hotel to get it fixed which was confusing for staff and time consuming. The situation was made more difficult because "I booked through Expedia". Not sure where the problem is...the hotel? Expedia? Both?

Not so good:skimpy on towels only 2 each. Breakfast a little boring with no variation from day to day. Carpet needed a good cleaning. Good: Very comfortable bed, shower and the large room. Room was clean except for carpet. Staff friendly and competent. Quiet room for the most part.
