Holiday Inn Express KLAMATH - REDWOOD NTL PK AREA by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Lots of good; just a few things less good. Staff were very friendly and let us check in about a half hour before normal check in time (4 pm). The room condition when we arrived wasn’t perfect (soap dispensers empty, used cup in room, no spare toilet paper roll), and this may have been because they were trying to get our room ready for us since we arrived early. We asked for clean towels for our two-night stay, and those arrived promptly. And the front desk gave us a couple of bars of soap. Not having stayed at an Express in awhile, we didn’t realize there would not be a daily room clean. Exercise room and pool were fantastic. Breakfast area was spacious enough to always find a place to sit. Casino attached to property. Lots of parking. This hotel is all about convenience/proximity to the Redwoods and great hiking. There are few food options nearby (I would say there are no real food options; but that’s not technically true). We drove to Crescent City each night, and for breakfast. Beautiful drive, so no big issues. Close to Trees of Mystery, a well-run attraction. Close to the scenic highway. Would definitely stay here again for nearby scenery. Casino next door; lost some moola there, but in a fun way.

We had a great experience here. The breakfast offered was great. It was nice to have some adult entertainment with the casino attached to us. It was in a great location and conveniently located to the freeway where we continued our travel in the morning.

The property is one of the nicest in the area. However there is a real significant lack of dining options. You have to travel up to Crescent City for dining.

Rating is for the no response from either the Hotel nor Expedia. We could not cancel due to miscommunication between expedia and Holiday Inn Express Klamath. I contacted both the parties but no one would respond.

Great staff! Comfortable beds.

The staff were always polite and helpful. The restaurant employees went above and beyond to accommodate our family, even though they had just closed. The food was delicious, and we ended up eating there twice. Our room was clean and quiet. We had debated whether to stay at the Klamath Redwood Holiday Inn or in Eureka, and we are so glad we chose this hotel. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Great location.. close to Redwoods attractions

Suited our needs for an overnight stay before visiting the Redwood Park. Beds comfy, quiet, breakfast good. Good for a quick stay.

Rooms were on the cleaner/nicer end for the chain. It's a consistent option for the area that overall has limited nearby hotel options. This location didn't have disposable slippers like they usually do. Limited dining options nearby.

On the Yurok reservation which presents opportunities to meet and interact with Native peoples

We loved the bed and pillows! The breakfast was good. The on-site restaurant was good.

The hotel was clean and comfortable

For some reason the gave us a handicap room that we didn’t request, the shower was super low and needed to seat down to take a shower and use wand, not used to take shower like this. To gives pace to a wheelchair my bed was almost all the way to the wall in one side making it very difficult to get up from bed. The hotel has a pool but it will be nice to have a hot tub.

This was the perfect place to stay when visiting the Redwoods National Park. Located just about 10 min. South of Crescent City and close to both Jedediah Smith State Park and the Redwoods National Park, just a couple blocks from the Drive-Through Tree. The hotel was very clean and newer, quiet even though it sits next to the highway, extensive free parking and free hot breakfast every morning plus free coffee/water bar all day. I love that all Holiday Inns have Dove products in the bathroom in big (locked) bottles! No need to pack any. There’s also a casino next door for those who enjoy gambling. We highly recommend this hotel!
