La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fort Worth Arlington West

We travel a lot as a family for my son’s sports and this was one of the worst stays we had. We arrived friday night, tired from work and travel (we travelled 3hours from OKC), then we got stuck inside their elevator for 20mins!! The elevator got warmer quickly. It was not handled well by the staff and my husband has to call the local fire dept to help us. As soon as the firemen areived, the staff was able to get us out. The elevator was still broken…We were supposed to be on the 3rd floor and we have wagons and suitcases with us. I think she was expecting us to just use the stairs with all the luggages we have after what happened?? My husband asked if we can have the ground floor instead so we dont have to take the elevator. She immediately said, i dont think they have available rooms at the first floor. So we are like what?? She ran to the front and made us wait for a while and came back that she can move us to the ground floor. Its been a while and my kids are still traumatized riding the elevator after what happened to us and will remind me what happened there. We had my diabetic senior mom with us and she didnt feel good already that time.. nobody reached out to us after this incident and not even given an apology!!

There were no showers in the pool area. Also no towels on the poolside. Water pressure in the bathroom was ridiculously low, it took forever to wash your hair! Otherwise clean and nice hotel.

The property was dated to the point of being dumpy. The room smelled musty. The property is right by the highway, making it too loud to enjoy the pool. The breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly.

Gross, dank, and mildew smelling room, with no ventilation. I cut my 2-night stay short. Front desk couldn’t edit my stay, so conveniently no refund for night 2. I wasn’t even asked why I was leaving early. Which was very telling.

We stayed in the king family suite. My husband and I traveled with our two children, and we are all relatively low maintenance travelers. For our family, the space worked just fine. We had the kids sleep on the pull out couch and we stayed in the bedroom. We weren’t in the hotel much beyond sleep. The couch and chair in the living area were so dirty. We had the kids sleep on the pull out couch and covered the exposed parts of the couch with a spare sheet. The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable that we were in a lot of pain during our trip. We needed extra blankets and the hotel actually didn’t have any to give us for several days. The mini fridge and mini kitchen was a hit for us. The gym had equipment that was out of order. The pool was amazing but the hot tub was gross. The staff was very friendly and housekeeping was great. Bring a sound machine in case you get a room by the highway. If we HAD to stay again, it would be fine. But I don’t have a reason to not shop around for other hotels next time we visit the area.

Room is clean, spacious and organized. Location is good.

We had to change rooms cause it had a bad smell but other then that it was a very nice stay the hotel was super clean and the staff was very helpful

Overall nice place to stay

The property was very convenient. 8 min from the globe life stadium where I went to a concert . Also very close to fast food and gas stations so the location was very ideal!

VERY CLEAN

This Hotel was SPOTLESS! I always bring my own wipes to clean and make myself more comfortable. There was not a speck of dust, dirt or anything that come onto my wipes. The remote, phone and all high touch surfaces were very clean, which started the stay off wonderfully. The staff was so nice! Everyone was friendly and spoke and we really enjoyed Imani at the front desk. We even showed her our outfits for the concert we were in town for. Overall, great stay and if I'm ever in the area again, I'll be back

This place is awesome.

The bed was not comfortable..

Room was excellent! Shower water pressure was a little low. Staff was great and friendly. Breakfast was very good too!!

Spiders and ants get in the cars overnight watch out!! Happened to me and another couple on separate occasions

Expected more for the price.
