Motel 6 Eugene, OR - South Springfield

I liked its location because it is situated next to a Denny's cafe, which turned out to have a selection of very high calorie content and we only had breakfast there by selecting the over-55 special menu, which was OK but not very delicious. We did learn that the cafe is open 24/7. The bed was not comfortable and one side was jammed next to a wall, which made it difficult to get up for the sleeper on that side. The bathroom air vent was very noisy and the make-up light over the sink didn't turn on. At least one ant got on our bed, but perhaps it was brought in by our two bichon frises after we walked them on the grounds. The reception was terse and the tattoos and attitude of the receptionist was not very appealing. Nearly all the rest of the guests seemed to be cigarette addicts and were often standing in their doorways puffing away and polluting the air. The room was bare, but what would one expect for its low price. For someone on a very tight budget, it is clean and worth the low price for a night's sleep, but we won't return.

We made a last minute decision to get a room for the night on our way back home. We left this place feeling so well rested and comfortable. We were greeted and felt very welcomed with positivity. Will definitely stay here again

Our room was dirty and was infested with ants. My in laws room had blood on the blankets and fecal matter up the wall.

The room they put us in smelled cigarettes all over. The place is decent for the price just inconsiderate guests stay here. I hope the hotel track down who smoke in the room and put into the list.

Very basic. No frills. Good location, close to U of O.

We booked a non smoking room, but there was very strong cigarette smell. The AC had a burnt smell. I had to leave the room's door ajar for fresh air.

Cramped for a walker or wheelchair. Very basic room. Smaii bed. Cheap linens and blankets. Inexpensive and ok for a quick overnight stop.

Staff is friendly and it’s a great place to lie your head down for the night after a concert

I didn’t even stay. I asked on the phone to check in early as I work nights I needed a place to stay in the morning. The person at the front desk said yes no problem. When I arrived at the property the person at the front desk said she had nothing available and I couldn’t check in.

Front desk staff on check in was nice. But it went downhill from there. When we got in the room and shut the door, it wouldn’t close completely. No amount of pulling would get it to close fully so we didn’t feel entirely safe at night. When we sat down on the bed, we noticed a stain coming through. The sheets hadn’t been changed from the people in front of us and the sheets smelled strongly of pee and body odor. When we called, they said we would get new sheets and they were never brought out. There were strange people lurking outside at all hours. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. It’s way too expensive.
