Pacific View Inn

A estadia foi ótima, os funcionários são bem atenciosos e educados, o hotel é super bem localizado, porém não ter café da manhã (eu já sabia disso antes de fechar a reserva) e também o estacionamento da rua ser muito concorrido são pontos que contaram bastante para não dar 5 estrelas no geral.

Overall it was a good stay. Close to the beach and within walking distance of so many food options. However the shower smelled as if they used a dirty towel on the tile and was just a bad smell overall and also the linen and sheets. Would suggest they use clean rags and ensure everything is washed for the clean smell.

Our room was so nice and just the right size for us two.

Everything was perfect! Room was clean and just steps away from the beach. Definitely looking forward to staying here again.

There is absolutely no parking for check in. The bathroom door would slide open, would not stay closed. The tv did not work. The staff is not there after check in so you are SOL.

Staff was amazing; view was great! Water pressure could’ve been a little better but great stay overall, extremely close to pacific beach!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lelina (not sure of spelling) was fabulous. The property is clean and well located. We will be back!! Our new spot in Pacific Beach

We loved how close to the beach this hotel is! It’s the perfect spot if you want to be right by all the restaurants, bars, and ocean! It looks like the room had been recently renovated as well.

This hotel was right on Pacific Beach with a very short walk to the beach access stairs. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was small (as other reviews stated) but very clean. All the essentials were in the room. Safe, coffee maker, refrigerator, comfy bed. Hotel has a huge stock of free to use beach gear- umbrellas, towels, chairs and more. Fabulous value for the location. Only downside is the description of parking was incorrect. There is NO option for third party bookings to use parking on site. Only option is street parking. Doable, but read signs carefully. Spaces open up after 8 PM. We found a spot two blocks away to leave the car for our two night stay.

Property location cannot be beat. Right on boardwalk in upper PB. Property is a bit old but has recently been remodeled. Staff were very nice, place was really clean and comfortable. Will stay there again.

Room was good, clean and bed comfortable. The hanging slider door for the bathroom kept drifting open which was annoying. Partial ocean view is limited but there. You could hear the surf from your bed which was nice. No ice machine and or water to refill my bottle. Only had for purchase water in plastic bottles. Parking is a challenge but eventually found a spot. You might want to spring for the $30 paid parking but that seems steep for what amounts to an on street parking space. Biggest issue: front desk was not helpful and exhibited very low level energy when answering basic questions including suggestions about where to park.

Very nice property. I felt safe as a solo traveler. Very walkable and the beach was beautiful. Many stores and food options. Staff was very nice and welcoming. I would stay here again and definitely recommend! Great price for beach front

Perfect location and the hotel was just what we needed. Staff was helpful and nice.

GREAT hotel, right on the beach. Very friendly front desk staff. They let us check in a little early. We were able to barrow beach chairs, umbrellas and towels each day which was awesome. The location was awesome. Walkable to lots of restaurants and shops. When I come back to San Diego, I will definitely stay here again.

It was a great location. Nothing fancy, very very minimal and lacking amenities. Staff was very helpful and kind. Wouldn’t pay a great deal for the hotel but like I said, location was great.

The desk staff was unhelpful and not very kind at check in. There should be a loading space for unloading luggage into the room since there isn’t close parking. They didn’t refill our coffee when they cleaned the room. There was loud partying in the room next to us all night.

No free parking? Alrighty then - but if you want to buy parking for $30, that's what they offer. Customer Service was rude from start to finish and did accommodate my flight changes. Charged me an extra sales tax according to a new law.

We loved the location of this property. It was on the beach. Everything was walkable. There were so many great places to eat and drink. The hotel was clean spacious and renovated. They had a bonfire pit. They also had beach chairs, beach towels and sand toys to use. We reserved parking ahead of time and I think that’s the way to go otherwise you have to find street parking and that can be difficult during the day. We would stay here again!
