This was a very nice hotel. There were a few quirky things about the room but nothing that made the stay unbearable. The biggest thing was every time we flushed the toilet it had a strange gurgling noise,

Love the area and hotel but hate that the parking lot and sidewalk could of been cleared of the snow better couldnt really see the sidewalk the wardrobe in room had a hole in the door and hole in the curtain

Someone below or next to us was smoking the entire stay which aggravated a severe smoke allergy. This is advertised as a "smoke free" place to stay. TV didn't work. Teenages running around in the parking lot screaming and playing music. This was the worst stay I've ever experienced.

WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN!
I will never return to this hotel again. The staff gave me so much stress the day of my arrival with saying that I wasn’t arriving on that day and that my payment wasn’t going through. It was just two hours of stress we get there in the hotel is disgusting. Our sink was clogged up the entire weekend. My family sink was broken. The showers leak through the door. We never got an ice bucket when we approached them they stated they didn’t know where it was at. We went to go grab my family’s next-door and there was dirty. The entire weekend we were there. The pool wasn’t working. The continental breakfast was absolutely terrible. And walking into my family‘s room when we arrived it smelled like a wet dog. I’ve never been so disgusted by a hotel and their service. The only good thing about this hotel was the manager. She was able to confirm everything for me to be ready for my stay after her employee that was working that day put me through the ringer right before we were about to leave to come down.

When we arrived , we did not know it was under construction. It was very noisy. There was no way to relax after our drive. Went to turn on the TV. There was no cable connected to the room. Went to open the curtains. There was blood on them. They were full so we could not change our room. They said they would take care of the cable we waited around for about 40 minutes. No one came so we went and found somewhere to go for a while. Called them to see if things have been fixed yet. They did get the cable hooked up. However she said she had to be honest they did not change the curtains out . That she would get that done. After running around instead of relaxing we went back to the room. Things were ready for us. However, got the boys ready to go to the pool. The pool was down for the rest of the night. After asking myself if there was another place we could go and use their pool, The death person contacted the manager and there was it was about 8 minutes down the street. The only problem with that is I had to put wet boys in my car to come back to our room. When looking it was on their website that they're under construction. However, it was in the small prints under policies. I feel it should have been right at the top of the page when you go onto their site. I feel at the the trap. That they expect people not to read the policies

I was very disappointed when I walked into the hotel. The hotel looked very run down and smelled of cigarette smoke. It was dark inside (low lighting) and looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a week. If I wasn’t there for a Lacrosse tournament and had to stay I would not have stayed there. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and moisture. My 12 year old asked me if we HAD to stay because she was creeped out by the place. Won’t stay again and definitely won’t recommend.

The property is not clean smells terribly of mold. Severe water damage in the room. Lobby also smells of mold. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. THEY DO NOT NOTIFY YOU THAT THIS PROPERTY IS U DER CONSTRUCTION AS WELL SO ON TOP OF MOLD IT SMELLS OF OTHER THINGS I HAVE ASTHMA AND HAVE NEEDED MY INHALER MUTLIPE TIMES SINCE CHECKING IN.

There was a big break in the second floor windows I have kids, could have cut their finger the shower was dirty a staff me member just walked in my room while I was undressing my child TWICE! My tv get going out all night due to a faulty cable cox had to have my microwave changed. Got rushed to checkout

Check in was quick, but hotel is going through a remodel and the rooms that aren't remodeled are meh. The buttons on the A/C were busted out, the remote didn't have batteries and the toilet seat was broken. It was fine for one night for a place to sleep, butnj would t make it home base for a trip to the Grand Rapids area.

I think it’s possible that this place could be a drug house. The staff was very unprofessional. Our room smelled really strange. We weren't sure if it was mold or something else. The floor was torn up on the 3rd floor. The lights in the room weren't working and when the manager came in to replace the lightbulbs, she never put the table back. I have stayed at a Sleep Inn before and had such a great experience. I was very unpleasantly surprised with this situation. We did not feel safe with our daughter staying there and I would like a refund. We stayed at the Drury Inn instead and the service was incredible.

Upon arrival, check in was pretty effortless we got to our room and dropped our things off and we left to go explore Grand Rapids and get our kids some food and come back for bed when we got back we noticed that the door had been opened but not closed all the way we didn’t really pay any mind going into the room getting settled in and getting everyone ready for bed once it was time to get in bed. We discovered that there were bugs we immediately got our children and left the room we went to the front desk where we waited about 20 or 30 minutes before staff was even available so around this time it was closer to midnight once we informed staff, they let us know that they thought they were ants, and I informed them that they were bedbugs the person at the desk continue to argue with me and not even offer another room or a refund so that my family and I could go to a different hotel we gathered our things, put them in trash bags and we left early and just got back on the highway headed towards our destination. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had and definitely no remorse from hotel staff I will never book here again

Was so smelly fr not being clean and dusty from construction we stayed there the one night and left due to my son not being able to breathe from his asthma . Area where we stayed was in a construction area that we could see down through the floor to the floor under as we walker over it
