Very convenient location. Easy, quick check in. Great value. Comfortable room. Helpful staff. Nice to have a piece of fresh fruit and coffee (with half and half) for breakfast, too.... Thank you! Only complaint was a damp mustiness in my room upon entering (1st floor, which I needed due to heavy luggage and no elevator).

Full of transient workers and smokers. Car was blocked in by work trucks each night. We cane for Hokie baseball with our son, and this was rough…. Will stay elsewhere

The room is falling apart. The electrical outlets need replacing, there are loose parts in the lighting near the bed, the room smells like stale smoke even though we requested a non smoking room. The front desk attendant was smoking just outside the front doors, cussing and complaining to her manager. Overall that is a bad first impression. The owner needs to put some money into this place to at least brighten the finishes and make sure the fixtures and electrical are functional. We paid well over the market value for this type of room as it is graduation week at Virginia Tech and all the hotels are raising their rates due to demand. I would not stay here again regardless as it is not worth the price even when it goes back down to a normal everyday rate.

It’s unfortunate that it is a half smoking facility. I thought it was clean and the staff was nice but no matter where I was I smelled smoke and unpacking all my clothes smelled like smoke, very unfortunate 😕

I initially called the hotel to request a modification to my reservation for a room with a single bed, but my call was abruptly disconnected. I then sent a message through the app, which was never responded to. Upon arrival at check-in, I requested the change again, but the receptionist did not even attempt to check the computer and simply stated that it was not possible.
The room and the bed had a very unpleasant odor, to the point where my clothes absorbed the smell. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel.
