Sweeping Smoky Mountain Views: Bella Vista' Cabin

I'd rate this 4 1/2 stars-- a great place to get away in the mountains and with beautiful views, but must keep in mind that you are getting a mountain cabin so without some of the luxuries. The good: a view to kill for, and with the sun and clouds turning it into constantly changing panorama; 15 minutes from hiking; very clean and comfortable; two very comfortable queen beds. Totally isolated, sing to your heart's content. The minor faults: There were some things that you would normally expect in a rental that weren't there, a bit annoying since the apartment is 10-15 minutes and some very steep roads from town, such as a sponge or scouring pad for the kitchen, or a lightbulb when the only lamp in a bedroom blew when we arrived. Also, the thermostat is in a locked encased box and could not be adjusted on a 33 degree night. Overall: if you like beauty, enjoying nature and realize you're not renting the Ritz, a great place. We We plan to return.
