The Beaumont House

The Beaumont House, was the first Bed and Breakfast we have stayed at, We were definitely not disappointed. I would and will come back to The Beaumont House again, the staff were beyond amazing, and the house was absolutely gorgeous.

Natchez ist ein kleiner, sehr schöner Ort. Das alte Beaumont-Haus ist ebenfalls grundsätzlich sehr schön. Zur Übernachtung empfehlen wir es jedoch keinesfalls. Über der Tür der Laura Suite befindet sich eine große Verglasung und das Zimmer wird durch das Licht im Treppenhaus dauerhaft erhellt. Die Klimaanlage ist zu laut, um schlafen zu können und die Temperatur der Klimaanlage lässt sich nur mit einem Nachbarzimmer regeln (Absprache nötig!). Die Türe zum Nachbarzimmer hat einen so breiten Spalt zur Zarge, dass es praktisch keine Privatsphäre gibt. Die Matratzen sind weich, der Kühlschrank komplett vereist und die Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen. Wir wollten den Grill nutzen, aber es gibt keinen Garten sondern nur einen Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Die Verandamöbel waren zu stark verschmutzt, um sie nutzen zu können. Im Haus war es sauber. Wir sind vorzeitig abgereist und das Frühstück wurde trotzdem in Rechnung gestellt.

Farrah was wonderful and made it fun. She told us the best places to eat and even took us to the Saloon where the locals like to go listen to live music. This experience was truly like being with friends instead of hotels that just make you feel that you are just an unknown room number.

It had an ambiance of surrounding comfort, many antique pieces throughout the 200 year old Inn. It was so very comfortable. The Owner of the property was very kind and accomodated us with a somewhat later arrival. It had modern conveniences, spotless shower and toiletries provided. Welcome very warm water and lovely breakfast at 9 a.m. in the parlor dining room with other guests. Absolutely perfect.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Beaumont house. Our room, The Emily, was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had a couple of special requests and were accommodated. This place is only a few blocks from town and the Mississippi. There are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance and our two favourite ones were Little Easy and The Camp. We loved the meals there. A nice touch was to have bottled water and ice in the main hallway. Natchez is a quiet and friendly place to visit.

Loved Beaumont House! Quite comfortable and felt very much at home! Great breakfast and Chester was a good host! Sandra who made breakfast for us was delightful to talk to and set us up with a wonderful tour guide of the area also!

My wife and I stayed at The Beaumont House one night in May, and loved it. When Hurricane Beryl recently deprived us of electricity in our home in the Houston, TX, area, we chose The Beaumont House as our home-away-from-home for six nights to escape the heat back home. The folks there treated us like family! They were truly superb! For any future opportunity we have to stay in Natchez, The Beaumont House will be our first choice!

Lovely historic home. The bedding was soooo comfortable, best sleep in ages. Be aware all bedrooms are up steep stairs. Everyone we encountered were very friendly and breakfast very tasty.
