The Morrow Washington DC Curio Collection by Hilton

The property varied from the reviews and videos I saw online. The train was loud and woke me up multiple times. I was not given the type of room I reserved, when I said something I was told they could move me the next day which didn't happen. The property smelled like an old basement. There was a moldy orange in the ice machine. Room service trays sat in the hall my entire stay (3 nights). I frequently travel to DC and I will NOT be returning to The Morrow.

It was our Anniversary which I informed the hotel of prior to arrival. Unlike most hotels, there would be a banner on the door or a complimentary bottle of champagne; this hotel offered nothing, not even a “Happy Anniversary. The front desk staff was not accommodating at all. I forgot my toothpaste and called the desk to see if they had any available. They did, but stated we would have to come down to the desk to get it. The same thing happened on the day we checked out. We were locked out of our room and I luggage was still in there. We called the front desk to ask if someone could bring a key up to open the door; we were told the same thing-you’ll have to come down to the desk to get it. For the price of this hotel, the customer service is mediocre at best.

I love this hotel. I stay here every time I go to DC. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Would recommend to friends

Very conveniently located. Galludet Metro stop right there. Biking, walking opttions, nice neighborhood We probably should have insisted on an upper.floor room. Third floor very close to train tracks=noisy night. We were also by the elevator, which also led to a noisy night

The railway station is located right under the building

The hotel is very nicely appointed. The lobby is inviting and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are luxurious. The hotel is in a great location. The rooftop bar has a great vibe and they just opened a restaurant on site which I have not yet tried.

Very friendly staff the rug in the room needed to be cleaned. There was a lot of mosquitoes right in front of the hotel.

This was my second stay at this property. I originally booked an airbnb for this visit because we needed to be in a different area of Capitol Hill, but we ended up needing to move out of those accommodations and I knew that The Morrow would not disappoint - and I was right. My last visit was shortly after its opening, and the common areas have worn a bit, but the staff is so outstanding. I wish I'd made a note of everyone's name, but Bethlehem in particular was a standout.

I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel. Great staff , cleanliness, and food!!

Great location, friendly staff and very comfortable rooms. Great rooftop bar with good views.

When I looked at the amenities it said a lot but when I got there they didn’t have anything in my room
