Came for a quick stay with my dog. The hotel is right on the beach, which is really amazing for the price. You do have to pay for parking. I would stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. I love the location, right on the beach. This is my favorite spur of the moment place to stay on North Padre. Rooms have always been clean and Comfortable beds, with cold AC. I also like the out door bar and pool.

This is the 3rd or 4 th time that I stay and this hotel and now this time they ask me for 100 dlls deposit and pay the parking, we get there around 9pm and the kids wants to go swimming and they can’t because they close early and open late and we had to check out at 11am also in the restroom we only had 1 towel for the coffee we didn’t have any sugar or creams,
I didn’t like it this time

Could have been a 5 rating if offers free breakfast. You will pay $11.99 for adult, and free for children. But staff is nice and friendly , they gave their decor balloons to my toddlers.
Only one elevator working during our stay, a lil traffic for outgoers and ingoing visitors.
Only thing is, we have seen an insect on the glass window. Paid $10 I think for the parking.
Has Live music in the pool area, starts at 5pm I think.
Not like a Destin, Florida beach vibe but still relaxing and perfect stay for leisure.

$10 parking per day, $30 resort fee per day. Not a resort! Pool area is outdated and old, the patio bar was way overpriced, ran out of wash clothes n towels by day 2, matress was like sleeping on a rock, elevators down for a day, coffe bar was bare minimal and hot water was iffy.

The hotel pictures are deceiving; property is rundown and dirty. The hotel is right on the beach, but the beach is small and overcrowded. The hotel pool is small as well, and not as pictured. You can find a nicer hotel on the beach in Port A for the same price. This hotel was not worth the cost. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the bed was comfortable and the ac worked really well. I was able to put the air down to 60 degrees, while most hotels don't let you go below 65.

Sadly we didn’t have the same positive experience as we had last year. The hotel was chaotic, loud, and not very clean (compared to same time last year). Elevators were not working well and our floor wreaked of marijuana and vomit.
On the positive….this hotel has the best location! It’s right on the beach and access is quick and easy.

I honestly love the hotel. The fact that the beach was walking distance like 20 steps away. Perfect! The water was clear no fishes nor jellyfishes. You can see right to the bottom of the water. Love the pool access and beautiful scenery. Especially the beach was super clean . The staff wasn’t so friendly. But we definitely would love to go back and stay again.

Due to a power outage, I was unable to check in at 4 PM. The hotel told me that if I waited 3 hours and checked in at 7 PM, the resort fee would be waived. However, the resort fee was still charged as originally planned. Additionally, during staying at the hotel, there was another power outage late at the night that lasted for several hours.

I was excited to stay at this place because of the location. I was highly disappointed with my experience. When we arrived at 4 to check in, I was told check in was not until 7 due to an earlier power outage. My options were to cancel or get wait 3 more hours with a $10 resort fee refund. We decided to stay. The indoor bartender was really nice. After waiting in a line for 30 minutes, I was able to check in and head to the room. By that time, I was exhausted and just wanted to chill and sleep. I set up my CPAP machine to call it a night and the power goes out AGAIN. The power outage lasted 3 hours. We couldn't sleep because the machines didn't work and it was hot as hell in the room. The most disappointing aspect is no one offered us a refund or no one offered to make it right in anyway. I think this place was once a fine establishment, but it seems to have taken a turn for the worse. We won't be back because it was a disastrous experience.

It was very dirty, walls were thinner then any where I have ever been you could see lights coming through all the doors. The main door and the room connecting doors. The windows that you would look out to see the ocean had a white cloudy film on the outside where you couldn’t really even see the beautiful beach. Bathroom plugs didn’t work. The worst part was electricity went out on the island which wasn’t their fault but the backup generator failed as well. We were up on the fifth floor and stairwells were pitch black no lighting. Very dangerous.

The elevator buttons are covered in pieces of paneling and tape. Room a/c was loud. Paying for parking there doesn't make sense. I didn't see extra security. Sliding door for the restroom wouldn't stay in place. It provided no privacy. It was a better hotel before Wyndham took over.

Nice property with an exceptional Staff. Safe and comfortable. The only complaint is the parking fee. I do not appreciate parking fees of that amount when you are paying for hotel. Maybe lessen the parking fee to 5.00 per day if you are a registered guest. This would be more appropriate. Staff was Great, I appreciate the friendliness when traveling.
