Travellers Motel

This property has a lot of potential. It is run down and requires some attention. The hostess was nice and pleasant. I understand that there was 2yrs covid and back to back cyclones, but basics like, cleanliness, good fans, lights, having coffee/tea/milk available, would help a lot. Thanks Wayne

Lisa the manager is incredible!!! The staff work so hard to make you feel at home. The area is great close to town with buses coming by often and a sports facility right across the street––I got a pass to play tennis for the week for pretty cheap. Great place

The welcome we received was lovely. The pool area is very nice and it’s a short walk to town. It was a little hot at night with just the fan but it was also very hot days when we were there.

Simple, well located accommodation with lovely and very helpful hosts.

If you are looking for a budget holiday I recommend Travellers. Basic but comfortable.

Hôtel simple mais joli avec ses chambre donnant toutes sur la piscine. L'espace a été optimisé donc pas beaucoup d'espace dans les chambres et dans les espaces communs mais c'est très fonctionnel. Pratique d'avoir une cuisine à disposition.

Comme à la maison la piscine en plus Proche restaurant marché centre ville Coin cuisine agréable en commun

町からは少しだけ離れますが、評価が高かったのでここを選びました！結果大満足！元々ドミトリーを予約していたのですが、私以外が全員男性ってことで、オーナーさんが別の部屋に案内してくれました。同じ価格で部屋を1人で使わせてもらいました。 部屋も清潔感がありました。Wi-Fiも問題なく使えます！ またポートビラに来るなら、この宿を選びたいです！

I couldn’t fault my 5 night stay at the Travellers Budget Motel. Michael the owner was not there, but his daughter Gabby ran the place. Gabby and the other staff were extremely friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The dormitory was clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen was always clean and had a an extensive array of cutlery, pans, plates, anything you would need. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to visit Port Vila.

I felt at home as soon as I arrived. I was in a nine bed dorm. but out of season so maximum was two sharing. One en-suite bathroom with shower. Toaster, kettle and microwave in the room and ceiling fans. An additional kitchen across the courtyard. A pool to cool off after a hot day. Five minutes walk to the waterfront and ten minutes to the town centre where there are restaurants, supermarkets and shops.

Initially the room was a bit smaller than expeected, but apart from that the motel was exceptional. The hospitality was above and beyond expectations. Kudos to the owner and his staff for an amazing experience in Port Vila.

I just came back from an extended weekend trip to Port Vila, and I am more than happy to have chose Traveller's Budget Motel for my stay. The location is a huge plus, and everything is easily accessible thru a walk or a short bus/taxi ride. Michael was extremely helpful in booking tours, transfers to/from the airport, giving recommendations about places to see, etc. Staff are always smiling and willing to help; Agnes helped me catch a bus to Mele, from where I took a ferry to Hideaway Island. Night conversations with Michael and the rest of the people staying at the motel were always fun! The room was neat and clean, and the bed comfortable. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a true Port Vila experience!

Acceuil sans plus , Chambre trés propre .Arrivées le soir pour reprendre un vol très tôt le lendemain .Bien situé proche de la ville . pas pu prendre une boisson chaude car le micro onde ne fonctionnait pas .

Staff are so kind and friendly. Near from town. There is nice Kitchen and we can use for free.

The hotel is situated out of the main centre of the town, but is an easy walk to the main street. 10 to 15 minutes will see you in the action of the Port Villa. The room was clean and tidy and the beds comfortable with a fridge, microwave, utensils/crockery and sink in the room. The meals available were of a high standard and well priced (meals at night were from the freezer with a reasonable number of selections), with the facilities also able to be used by the hotel guest to prepare and cook your own meals with your own ingredients. The hotel staff are friendly and always willing to help with any requirements that you may have, whether it be a suggestion for how to catch a bus, cab or taxi, to what to see next, all very help tips and guides (local where possible) to Vanuatu. Jack was able to help us out at short notice when our plane was returned to port Vila due to bad weather - there was 5 of us! they have one room that can sleep 6. Our kids (11, 15 and 17) didn't want to leave.
