The old building is very well preserved. The staff is courteous, ready to help with recommendations for sightseeing or eating in the area. Rooms are comfortable and they offer breakfast daily. Hanoi Pearl is a great place to stay in Hanoi

I stayed at the Pearl for one night. It was very conveniently located close to all the shops, restaurants, and night life within the Old Quater. The staff and service was one of the best in the Old Quarter area.

This hotel is in a great location. It is rather dated and shows its age. A caution to older travelers... The bathtub is built on a platform, making rather high off the ground. As a senior traveler, this posed a major safety issue for me. If you have any mobility issue, I would think twice about this hotel.

I wanted a functional hotel that was well located. The property was older, but renovated. I was willing to trade off an excellent walkable location for a newer hotel and my room had everything that any other hotel would have - two TV's and a modern marble walled shower. Plus, I could walk upstairs to a very nice rooftop bar. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were super informative and professional. Clark was excellent! Best part is you can find everything you would want right on the street a stones throw from the hotel. My favorite place was Leo's on the second floor down the alley and up the stairs to the left. Lot's of people from aropund the world were hanging out. Hanoi Pearl was a great way to start off my trip to Hanoi.

This was my second time staying in this amazing property. First time was last month for four nights and staying another four nights. The buffet is the best we have ever had in Asia… The reception and the staff in the restaurant are so friendly and always enough English to understand easily… Only three minute walk to the lake we will be back.

Fabulous location in Hanoi Old Quarter. Amazing staff that spoke good English and were able to make suggestions for us about what direction we should wander, what things we should see and how to navigate the map they provided for us. Our room was lovely. Beautiful and modern and quiet despite the active night life. We loved the area and could easily have spent 1-2 more days exploring (if time had allowed) and not been the least but bored! I recommended getting a massage from the Pearls spa…it was great! Overall we were impressed with the beautiful hotel and the incredible people.

Perfect location a couple blocks from Ho ham kiem lake, the old quarter, and weekend night market. Location is on a smaller side street so it is quieter which was appreciated. Dominic and Kevin were great in making sure we able to reserve a car to the airport very early in the morning and to arrange tours. Breakfast staff and chef were friendly and made nice soups and omelots to order. Rooftop bar with view over the lake for the tet ny eve fireworks. Wonderful stay and definitely recommend
