The staff is so helpful. There’s many tours you can book. This resort is away from the bustle of Da Nang. It is also within walking distance of the old town and the market area. The daily morning breakfast was incredible. The hotel has a nice restaurant, and there’s also lots of food choices outside to change things up. We’ll be back again in two years!

Ancient House Resort is situated between the heart of Hoi An city and the Cua Dai beach. The front of the resort is the main street of Hoi An town, the back is the branch of poetic De Vong River. You can easily access to the beach or the old town from the resort by free daily shuttle bus. Based on the Hoi An’s long history and mix of cultures, the Ancient House Resort evokes you the uniquely hidden charm nestled under the traditional and modern architecture. Here, surely you will be attracted with natural landscapes and houses roofed by clay-tile, decorated by round and rectangular Chinese lanterns. Our stay at Ancient House resort was so lovely. The room just as the pictures beautiful and spacious and very clean. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous but the highlight for us were the friendly and attentive staff. We traveled all over Vietnam and the staff and resort really stood out to us. I don't plan on staying anywhere else when we visit hoi an again. We loved Ancient house resort.

I used to be a backpacker and now mid-range traveler with my kid. For the cost, I was expecting mid-range but it was luxury. A very stunning place and staff that treat you like royalty. And the breakfast was amazing. There were two areas that affluent folks may not mind, but I was uncomfortable with. There’s no card to put on the door to indicate you don’t want your towels and bedding changed. It’s a waste. And the volume of food at breakfast is glutenous! It’s good, but there’s so so so much. There doesn’t need to be that many choices and that much waste for the wealthy to enjoy themselves.

15 min walk to city centre. You can walk along the river to old Hoi An which is peaceful and not so busy. The hotel changed our first room as it didnt have a proper balcony and i just mentioned it in passing and Minh got us moved. The reception staff, concierge, housekeeping and Minh are very good. Restaurant at breakfast lets the place down. Looks immpressive but feels like it cut corners on quality. Juice isnt freshly squeezed, if the coffee runs put no one notices, the tables aren't relaid if someone leaves so if you.come in a bit later theres no cleaned tables. Choices are limited and same daily, cold meats, salads etc. Doesn’t sound much but it just let the hotel down for us. Bikes are a nice touch, worth using.

The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating, nothing was a problem.
The hotel gardens and grounds are beautifully kept.
Our room was stunning, with a lovely outlook.
We felt very comfortable and happy with our stay. The hotel shuttle into town was great, although we walked most of the time alone the back street along the river, taking only 15mins.
The complimentary bicycles were a lot of fun, we rode through rice fields to Tra Que vegetable village.
It was my second stay here, I liked it so much :)

The family room we rented was excellent, a lot of space, we loved it. The hotel is well located, not to far from the old town. It was great that they provided a free shuttle. Service was excellent. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Jeg oplevede en del fugt og faktisk en skimmelagtigt fugtighed. Dog var de enormt søde på resortet. morgenmaden var god og der var et dejligt badeværelse på værelset. Men fugten trak ned og meget af mit tøj tog flere dage om at få tørreret/renset for fugtlugt

The staff was excellent. They new your name when they greeted you. Everyone had a smile and asked if you needed anything. Room was very clean, bathroom water pressure was great. No issues during our stay and convenient to old town and the beach.

よりベトナムらしいインテリアと良質のサービスを求めてこの宿を選びました。朝ごはんはベトナム郷土料理と西洋があり、フルーツが豊富でとても美味しく、3日滞在したのですが、少しずつメニューも変更されていて毎日飽きませんでした。部屋が1階だったので、部屋の温度と湿度の管理が少し難しかったかもしれません。部屋のバスルームに小さなヤモリが住んでいたのも私にはとても愛らしく感じました。
旧市街とビーチには無料でシャトルバスが出ていて(glabでも大した料金ではないですが)安心感もあり、細かなコストをセーブすることもでき、とても便利でした。
特筆すべきはスタッフのホスピタリティだと思います。出発前から深夜到着のため、送迎の手配をお願いしていましたが、親切に何度もメールをいただいたり、帰りの手配も心配してくれて、夜便のため、荷物を持ったままどのように過ごそうか迷っていたところ、タクシーに積んだまま観光し、空港へのお迎えまで完璧に手配してくれました。
あと宿の中にホテルの名前の由来にもなっている400年前の民家が残っているのですが(ライスペーパーを作ってレストランに卸しているそうです)昔ながらの製法でのライスペーパー作りのワークショップと民家の案内をしてくれました。作りたてのライスペーパー、ベトナムの醤油で食べたらとても美味しかった！
スタッフのミンさん、とても親切でした！
市街地からは少し距離がありますが(車で5分とか？)スーパーが目の前、歩くと食事処もあり、何不自由ない滞在ができました。
