The videographer for the hotel was top notch, because while it looked similar in real life, it felt much smaller than the video. Most of the staff were excellent, others seemed indifferent. Breakfast is pretty nice, so are the drinks at the pool bar, but outside of that - I wouldn’t recommend the hotel food at all. Bring your own bath gel and shampoo, theirs had an odd scent. Overall nice place and perfect location, but construction of new hotel in front of Stella Maris definitely impacts beach views

This has been the best hotel by far that I have ever stayed in Vietnam. The staff bend over backwards to make sure that we were comfortable and happy. One staff member had overheard me talking to my husband about how loud kids were on our hallway on our floor and he and the front desk girl offered to changed our room for us without us asking. They also made sure that we had car service free of charge the next day when checking out since we had asked for late checkout, but they could not accommodate because they were fully booked. The breakfast buffet was by far the best we’ve had in Vietnam as well. This was my third trip and I’ve stayed in 10+ hotels at this point and again this was the best.

Ms Phuong, Ms Linh and all the staff of Stella Maris Da Nang are incredibly helpful and really make it feel like a luxury experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Great location, great room and rooftop bar to top it off. We will definitely be back!

Staff and location were incredible. Breakfast was amazing. The massage in the spa was excellent as well. The only thing I could critique was the gym. Its very old, dated and small. Otherwise, I would stay here again and again. The suite had an incredible view and the soaking tub was very nice.

Room was very spacious for the one with double single beds but not so much for the one with one queensized bed. I found the toilet to be a little strange because the sink is outside (the tap is quite loud too) and there is nothing behind the sink. If you place your toiletries at the sink, it can fall and break (there isn't much space to place it elsewhere either). It made things rather inconvenient especially when someone uses the toilet while everyone else is sleeping... Breakfast was just ok. Service was ok, just that we waited quite a while for our luggages when they told us they would send it upstairs right away. I only got my luggages when I made a call to the reception.

Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel ! Le personnel est absolument remarquable : chaleureux, attentionné, professionnel et toujours prêt à aider avec le sourire. On se sent vraiment bien accueilli du début à la fin. L’hôtel est très agréable, confortable et bien situé, avec une équipe qui fait vraiment la différence. The staff here are incredible. Daisy helped us out a lot. The rooftop pool and bar are nice. The location is amazing and the room had a great view. There were just some small things like little holes in the ceiling or stains on the wall, some dusty areas like the plants and ceiling ledge and mildew in the corner of the shower. The breakfast was good and the shuttle service was really helpful. The wifi was dropped off constantly, but I never asked to fix it because I had data. We got free drinks and a 60 minute massage for our VIP level. The spa rooms door couldn't close and the robes didn't fit leaving us feeling exposed as people walked by. I would recommend this place, if the little things don't bother you.

The staff were lovely, as in most places in Vietnam, but for a high rated hotel, there is so much they could be doing better. This was our third and final stay while on our two week trip and was supposed to be the “go out with a bang” finale, but was the least impressive. I don’t want to complain, but have some suggestions for the future and perhaps things for others to consider while planning. Upon arrival at our room it was very hot. The air conditioning kept shutting off even when we left a room key in the slot. It was looked at three times before moving us to another room “only to sleep” and then the next day was confusing as to moving back or moving fully into the next room. Rooms were modern but not practical. Nowhere to put your toiletries, toilet paper mounted on the back wall instead of beside the toilet, a semi-sheer privacy curtain in the glass-footed bathroom, soaked bathroom floor after a shower. Nowhere for luggage. The elevators were always busy and full. The spa was not relaxing or very professional. Very nice staff, as mentioned, but loud, cold, and not what you would expect at a hotel. Construction happening on both sides very loud and all day from early. Very busy corner and very difficult area to cross the street to the beach. No currency exchange service or mail service. Construction happening in pool area and the pool toys were cracked and broken life rings. We were disappointed as our first two hotels were amazing for less

We had a great stay overall. Front desk/reception: they were friendly and wonderful staff. Fast check-in and they upgraded us to have better experience! I had 2 compliment drink vouchers but had issues redeeming them at the rooftop lounge. Rooftop lounge: service was ok. There seem to be miscommunication within the staff on when the complimentary vouchers can be redeemed. We were told we couldn’t redeem it until the next day but were leaving early for airport. Then they said we could use it at breakfast no problem only to find out the restaurant doesn’t take them. This made it confusing and a little frustrating. Restaurant: we were the only one dining; food was good overall. Spa: good overall.

I can not recommend this hotel enough! Stella Maris was absolutely amazing! The staff was the best part of my stay. They were so supportive and accommodating. We received a free hour massage, free drinks and offered car services to our next accommodation. The breakfast was delicious and had so many choices! The views were perfect. The pool and cocktails were perfect! I will definitely be back here to stay again.

The videographer for the hotel was top notch, because while it looked similar in real life, it felt much smaller than the video. Most of the staff were excellent, others seemed indifferent. Breakfast is pretty nice, so are the drinks at the pool bar, but outside of that - I wouldn’t recommend the hotel food at all. Bring your own bath gel and shampoo, theirs had an odd scent. Overall nice place and perfect location, but construction of new hotel in front of Stella Maris definitely impacts beach views

This has been the best hotel by far that I have ever stayed in Vietnam. The staff bend over backwards to make sure that we were comfortable and happy. One staff member had overheard me talking to my husband about how loud kids were on our hallway on our floor and he and the front desk girl offered to changed our room for us without us asking. They also made sure that we had car service free of charge the next day when checking out since we had asked for late checkout, but they could not accommodate because they were fully booked. The breakfast buffet was by far the best we’ve had in Vietnam as well. This was my third trip and I’ve stayed in 10+ hotels at this point and again this was the best.

Ms Phuong, Ms Linh and all the staff of Stella Maris Da Nang are incredibly helpful and really make it feel like a luxury experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Great location, great room and rooftop bar to top it off. We will definitely be back!

Staff and location were incredible. Breakfast was amazing. The massage in the spa was excellent as well. The only thing I could critique was the gym. Its very old, dated and small. Otherwise, I would stay here again and again. The suite had an incredible view and the soaking tub was very nice.

Room was very spacious for the one with double single beds but not so much for the one with one queensized bed. I found the toilet to be a little strange because the sink is outside (the tap is quite loud too) and there is nothing behind the sink. If you place your toiletries at the sink, it can fall and break (there isn't much space to place it elsewhere either). It made things rather inconvenient especially when someone uses the toilet while everyone else is sleeping... Breakfast was just ok. Service was ok, just that we waited quite a while for our luggages when they told us they would send it upstairs right away. I only got my luggages when I made a call to the reception.

Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel ! Le personnel est absolument remarquable : chaleureux, attentionné, professionnel et toujours prêt à aider avec le sourire. On se sent vraiment bien accueilli du début à la fin. L’hôtel est très agréable, confortable et bien situé, avec une équipe qui fait vraiment la différence. The staff here are incredible. Daisy helped us out a lot. The rooftop pool and bar are nice. The location is amazing and the room had a great view. There were just some small things like little holes in the ceiling or stains on the wall, some dusty areas like the plants and ceiling ledge and mildew in the corner of the shower. The breakfast was good and the shuttle service was really helpful. The wifi was dropped off constantly, but I never asked to fix it because I had data. We got free drinks and a 60 minute massage for our VIP level. The spa rooms door couldn't close and the robes didn't fit leaving us feeling exposed as people walked by. I would recommend this place, if the little things don't bother you.

The staff were lovely, as in most places in Vietnam, but for a high rated hotel, there is so much they could be doing better. This was our third and final stay while on our two week trip and was supposed to be the “go out with a bang” finale, but was the least impressive. I don’t want to complain, but have some suggestions for the future and perhaps things for others to consider while planning. Upon arrival at our room it was very hot. The air conditioning kept shutting off even when we left a room key in the slot. It was looked at three times before moving us to another room “only to sleep” and then the next day was confusing as to moving back or moving fully into the next room. Rooms were modern but not practical. Nowhere to put your toiletries, toilet paper mounted on the back wall instead of beside the toilet, a semi-sheer privacy curtain in the glass-footed bathroom, soaked bathroom floor after a shower. Nowhere for luggage. The elevators were always busy and full. The spa was not relaxing or very professional. Very nice staff, as mentioned, but loud, cold, and not what you would expect at a hotel. Construction happening on both sides very loud and all day from early. Very busy corner and very difficult area to cross the street to the beach. No currency exchange service or mail service. Construction happening in pool area and the pool toys were cracked and broken life rings. We were disappointed as our first two hotels were amazing for less

We had a great stay overall. Front desk/reception: they were friendly and wonderful staff. Fast check-in and they upgraded us to have better experience! I had 2 compliment drink vouchers but had issues redeeming them at the rooftop lounge. Rooftop lounge: service was ok. There seem to be miscommunication within the staff on when the complimentary vouchers can be redeemed. We were told we couldn’t redeem it until the next day but were leaving early for airport. Then they said we could use it at breakfast no problem only to find out the restaurant doesn’t take them. This made it confusing and a little frustrating. Restaurant: we were the only one dining; food was good overall. Spa: good overall.
