The connivence of being downtown is great. Alex at the front desk was very helpful. It's a great place to stay!!

Friendly staff and free coffee. Conveniently located near Denny’s and close to Monterey attractions.

Clean and well maintained property. Adequate room amenities and comfortable bed. Few blocks from the marina, beach, park. Restaurant across the building open 24hours (Denny’s). Perfect place to stay in for a quick weekend getaway. Staff very strict with check out time. Pool small and too deep for little ones. No hot tub and no bath tub in the room. No big deal for us. Overall experience excellent! Will book again for sure.

The staff and setting at Stevensons were great. I would certainly stay there again.

The check in Was easy close to town and bed was comfortable. Old looking on the inside and out! Not a bad place to stay for the money.

Great downtown location. A few street noises in the night but generally quiet. The shower has two cannisters -- both labeled "conditioning shampoo" with nothing else, including shower gel or soap. For an otherwise good motel, that's a needless inconvenience. Also, one awful thermos of coffee in the lobby was worse than not having any at all.

Walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf and lots of restaurants. Great location!

Super friendly staff great location

It was last minute, same day booking on Saturday. Most of the hotels were sold out already and the Stevenson Monterey had the last room available. We were driving back home to SF from Avila Beach and decided to stop for a Whale Watching in Monterey. It's just a regular motel type hotel. Nothing fancy. It was OK for a night. The room was clean and it was around 15 minutes walk to the Fishermans Wharf. It's a pretty good hotel for one night, but not for the price I have paid, which was $300+

The hotel was clean and close to the Convention Center. But there were a few minor maintenance issues that came up my stay. Overall, the place was very nice.

On the outside it looks like a 60s 0r 70s motel, but has been very nicely updated inside. As such it is a good value. Location is good with lots of places to eat in easy walking distance.

Within walking distance to old wharf,, restaurants, farmers market. About 10 min drive to aquarium.

If was a nice place to stay and walking distance to fisherman’s wharf. The room is clean and comfortable bed. The area is not quiet due to nearby traffic. After an active day, you will be so tired that the noise level will not matter. It was a one night stay.
