I stayed at Hotel Zed with a friend for a girls trip and it was awesome. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. They let us check in early, which was so helpful since we were on an early flight. The ability to text message the lobby was so convenient and they were always super responsive. We were reluctant to stay at a hotel outside of downtown but the location was super easy to navigate to a cool restaurant or the wharf with a quick Uber ride. Thank you Hotel Zed!!!

The room was so fun! Loved having a bedroom and kitchenette. Staff was very friendly.

Other than the homeless rummaging through the dumpster at next doors KFC, it was fantastic.

Nice convenient place to stay in town. Check in was awesome. The theme is cool and they keep to it. Breakfast convenient and great service good food. A little noisy at night but it’s on a main road so not surprised. Housekeeping storage and the laundry room was also across from our room too so they also added some noise

Great staff. Always helpful. The room was clean. Loved the big hooks by the door. All hotel rooms should have them. Easy to take the bus to the wharf area. Bonus were the yo-yo and Grandma’s Basement

We had such a great stay at Hotel Zed! It was my birthday and they made it feel real special. The room was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The place is well situated near the bike path, so we took the complimentary bikes out every day to cruise downtown and all over the city. Plus, it was easy to take transit to other spots. We’ll definitely stay here again!

We had room 201 , right beside the road, very loud.

Stayed for 3 nights in a king room with a dog (was charged an added $20/night upon check in, wasn't included in Expedia price). Such a cool place! Staff was super friendly. The room was soooo cozy and comfortable and roomy. Free bike rental super easy and bike paths close by. Pool area so fun! We did eat once at The Ruby Diner there, I will say the carnivore plate was a bit underwhelming & bland, so wouldn't recommend. Easy and free parking. The mall is literally across the street. Would definitely go back!

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were super friendly. Bed was too soft for my liking but that’s a personal preference. My only complaint is that the hotel is on a very busy street (Douglas) and the side street has a school bus depot. Our room was near the corner of both streets and we stayed during the weekday so our room was pretty loud and noisy in the early mornings. Rooms away from Douglas street might not be as loud.

Clean room, beautiful vibes, only one thing improve is if provided each room for iron and iron board will be great for travellers. ( Not to go down to facilitate room )

What a let down. We cancelled our second night. The staff were accommodating, but the room was not as “cool” as it is portrayed. Just an old hotel renovated to look funky. But the location was just terrible. We listened to sirens and traffic all evening long.

Such a fun and funky place to stay. Hotel Zed was very kid friendly. Our favorite part was the free bike rentals. 10/10 recommend checking out.
